That was typical one night stay. Reception works really efficient which is good. The room has proper size, with good bed. Bathroom is rather small, but very clean. Good internet connection without any additional passwords.. Room is little bit too dark, however desk is equiped with lamp so anyway it is possible to work
Breakfast was proper, but on the other hand it wasn't special.
Prices are quite high, but this is typical to Stavanger
totally overpriced, food in the restaurant pretty expensive but enjoyment-free, breakfast very very basic (almost no choice of fruit) rooms are nice, staff is friendly. A petty that such a nice place is so overpriced and managed very ordinarily.

This hotel is for people travelling by car since it is located ouside Stavanger centre.
It is a modern Scandic, that offers all the usual services. One thing I noticed here that I would like to share:
In the morning I decided to have breakfast on the way out. After breakfast I was about to get my luggage when I noticed that the bag left at the luggage stand was not mine! In such situations it is good to be able to rely on help from locals. It took the girl in the reception about 3 minutes to find out who had taken my luggage by mistake and find this person through their booking system. 15 minutes later I had my bag again. This, my is worth a lot when the success of your business meeting is dependent on having access to your luggage. Lots of stars to Scandic, wish I had noted down the name of the receptionist. If you are reading this, again thanks!

This is an excellent hotel for business travel. It is not in the city center but easily reachable by taxi or bus. The bus takes around 20-25 minutes.
The hotel can be very busy, but it is actually very quiet in the rooms. And even if it is kind of an industrial area, it is very quiet during day and night.
The rooms are nice, equipped with all you need. Some coffee/tea making facilities, else it is typical Norwegian style. They have good curtains if you travel there in summer and the night is short...
Breakfast is also very good - anything you want, you'll certainly don't leave hungry. Maybe some more fruit selection or a fruit salad would be good.
The hotel is very clean as are the rooms.
Would recommend it and go there again if I have to travel to Stavanger again.

Good location for business if visiting forus. No other reason to stay here as it is out if town in an industrial estate.
There is a restaurant and bar, a small 24 hour self device shop selling snacks, drinks and toiletries, and a small gym in the basement.
Good rooms. Food selection limited but ok.

After staying one night at the Scandic Forus Hotel, Stavanger, at rate NOK 2500 the conclution is:
- The "ultra plus" room is nothing more than an ordinary room with a water heater and extra TV
- The TV did not even work properly and I had to unplug the power once in a while to sync the sound
- The kitchen is terrible. It is a long time since I returned the food, but this time I returned it twiced and order pizza from an external company.
- The two Shiraz red wines I tasted was the two worst one I ever tried. The waiter smiled and told me how nice and full bodied they was. What an idiot.
- The beer selection was ok, except they only had 5 different bottles available and I selected a corn based beer, paying almost NOK 100 for 0.33 liter
- The hotel is located in a industrial area and the view was overlooking the nearby furniture warehouse
- The door to the room did not lock by itselves
- The SPA was a small exercise room in the basement next to the indoor parking
- The minibar was empty. You need to go to the shop next to the front desk and buy it yourself. (WTF)
