Jaeren is actually a misplaced attraction as it actually stands for a whole region some 100 km long and about 10-15 km wide with lot of small communities and towns. The variety here is abundant, the beautiful scenery of undulating landscape and farmland that ends with a sea, the lighthouses, the sand dunes and beaches and the rolling boulders beaches (unlike Denmark), the "flag trees" (bend in one direction by the wind), then the prehistoric monuments from the Viking era, architecture of old farmhouses and "stone fences", the small and old churches, the small industrial monuments, and the tracks after World War II. So, there are many museums and attractions to visit. All in all, for Norway a special region, that stands out in more than one way.
