I really enjoyed my visit to this place during summer 2013. We had tea in authentic Turkish tea glasses. Good variety of tea sorts. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Amazingly decorated interior. Good place if you need a cozy place for hearty and nice conversations.

“THANK YOU SHELMAN”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2013

The owner and our "neighbor" Selman made us feel like home. He is so polite and warm. Outside it was raining and it was cold and Selman offered us his delicious pasta and sandwich (you must see the decoration of the dish). By eating and drinking tea we had a wonderful conversation. If we come again to Stavanger it would be also to visit "Efendi Tea & Coffee House". Thank you!

“Excellent service and tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013 via mobile

This place is fantastic! The male owner is so warm and friendly- there were no tables when we entered but he set us one up and then moved us to a comfier one later. They let u smell all of the different teas and they help you to make a choice.
Served in lovely little pots. The pomegranate tea is just lovely!
Will definitely return :)

This coffee and tea house is beautifully decorated. The service provided by the owner is really warm and polite, plus some tasty turkish specialties. A great restaurant located in the nicest street in Donwtown Stavanger, to get a nice memorable experience! Highly recommended!

“Fantastic service, excellent tea and great atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2013

I moved (home) to Stavanger six years ago, but didn`t find "my" place to hangout and chill before Efendi opened this year. Stavanger offers cafeterias and restaurants, but Efendi is truly something new, and you will know what I am talking about as soon as you enter this little pearl of a tea and coffee house;

The interior is handpicked by the owner, and you literally steps out of the Stavanger and into an relaxed world were Suliman (the owner) is ready to provide all the service you need, and then some. For reserved Norwegians it takes a little while to get used to someone talking about his tea and coffee house as his living room, but the service truly lives up to this.

I`ve had the pleasure of trying the lentil soup, which is superb, the Turkish tea; which is exactly as I remember it from Istanbul, and the Turkish sweets and Turkish delights is just so good that you need an extra hour at the gym.

If you want something that no one else offers, combined with relaxing music and great decor Efendi is the place for you.
