“Fantastic stay in awesome apartment”
Reviewed 14 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Great stay in this apartment with plenty of room for our different family members (aged 1 - 87!), ensuite bathrooms helps with that. We enjoyed both relaxing there and being out and about in the local area, it's very well located in the Peaks.

“Fantastic Holiday Let”

An outstanding apartment - one of the best we have stayed at in this area. Comfortable, very spacious and well equipped.

“Awesome stay - highly recommended and high quality”
Reviewed 9 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Awesome place - very modern, incredibly spacious and furnished with love and care. There certainly hasn't been cost cutting in that respect. It is also the first holiday home that we had washing and cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. readily supplied - very impressed. The owners clearly have exceedingly high standards. Having all the rooms en-suite is also a major bonus.

My favourite place was the cubby hole overlooking the river - amazing place to read and meditate.

I cannot fault Number 6 and we had a lovely holiday in the peak district. Just make sure you're ready for the winding and sometimes narrow roads that come as a package with the beautiful area!

Liked best: Amazing place, amazing value, perfect for exploring the Peak District.
Liked least: One caveat on location - it is extremely beautiful, but requires a narrow drive to get to. If you're a walker you'll love it! Parking was also a little cramped, but we had very little problem other that this.

Just a few supplies left out to 'get gusts going', bearing in mind the quite remote location, just hand soap in the bathrooms not real 'toiletries'.

“Great base”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

It's a lovely apartment, with all that we needed for our stay.
We particularly enjoyed the en-suites, which had super showers and towels.
The area has lots to do and this is a great base from which to do it!

“Stunning apartment with wow factor in rural location.”
Reviewed 5 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This apartment really has the wow factor when you first walk in. The lounge is absolutely huge, with very comfy sofas and double aspect views of the stream rushing by. The photos don't show the real scale of the place. The master bedroom has a huge comfy bed, but the third bedroom is a bit small for two people and that bathroom's access is very tight too. The property is very rural with access to beautiful walks straight from the door, including the Monsal Trail. Loads of good local pubs to eat at and not far from Chatsworth House and farm shop, which has the most delicious food. Buxton is also worth a visit. We would definitely recommend this property and would like to stay there again.

“Gorgeous Apartment, Stunning Location”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed for a week and it is a fabulous place to stay, everything is provided, the views out of the enormous windows are amazing and the constant flow of water running along side just relaxes you, the walking country is second to none, you can walk for miles, there are cycle tracks and lots of climbing spots, the local towns and villages have all the shops you could want, the Day Spa in Buxton at the Dome is defiantly worth a visit, and Bakewell has a multitude of places to eat, Tiddeswell Cathedral Church is stunning, there is lots to do or not do, the beds are incredibly comfortable, as is the corner sofa which once you are on you don't want to get off.... I would recommend staying here without hesitation.....

“A beautifully restored building in the middle of Derbyshire”
Reviewed 28 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Litton Mill is a beautifully restored building right next to the Monsal trail. We booked a long weekend with extended family to get away from the city lights and chill out and get some needed peace and quiet.
Litton Mill is a restored factory with a lot of history which has not been lost in the apartment and has existing internal features which reminds you of that history. It is a well proportioned apartment which sleeps 6 people but has room for more (could utilise the huge living-room). The apartment exceeds expectations of a typical middle of nowhere accommodation and is arguably one of the more luxurious places to stay in Buxton.
The highlight of the apartment is the running river flowing past the windows and having access to Monsal trail which is perfect for anyone wanting a walking break - plenty to discover including several authentic pubs selling real ales along the way.
From the moment we booked, the owners could not do anything more to make our stay more comfortable and easy to plan, we will definitely be booking this again very soon!!

Thanks Vicky - for information we would not want to let the apartment for more than 6 (except an infant) and infact we are unable to under our terms of the ownership (long leasehold) of the apartment - we can't use it for more occupants than it is designed for when letting out (and we already created a third bedroom from the large wasted space utility room!)
