We have been lucky to find a table for 5 on Sunday, lunchtime!
Really lucky! We had the chance to enjoy great hospitality from this fantastic family, which is preparing everything with big passion and taste the most authentic local food. My favorite was the souvla!
We also got a great house wine which is produced in their own winery.
Thank you

Excellent food and imaginative recipes using local ingredients. We were there with friends, one of which has celiac. The staff was very informed, the chef himself came out to meet us and explain how all food allergies are respected and cared for in his restaurant. Food was specially prepared for our friend (a glorious steak, cooked as requested to perfection) , separately and with accompaniments to suit his needs.
the rest of us tried the fried ravioli, falafel, another steak with blue cheese, pasta with shrimp, kids pizza and salads, all of which were perfectly prepared. You can definitely appreciate the freshness and quality of raw materials.
went back again, tried the lamb with herb crust (an unexpected burst of freshness and flavor in the mouth, soft and tender meat, I can only remember a dish in Ireland years back with lamb that made such an impression to me), grilled vegetables (which by themselves were nothing special, but we asked for some olive oil and were surprised by its quality and the taste in offered to the dish, i strongly recommend doing that) , aubergines saganaki (which is offered as a vegan choice on the menu, but can easily surpass in taste meat dishes in many restaurants!) and a steak with mushrooms .
Prices were very good, especially if you consider the quality and compare with restaurants in other places of Cyprus, then you can say they are even low! food quantity is massive, be careful not to over-order! the temptation is big, because of the variety in the menu!
The place also offers mezedes, a variety of small dishes served one following the other, a common way in Cyprus and loved by the locals, but i strongly recommend trying the other, more exciting , options on the menu!
The menu is also coded with signs for all food preferences and allergies.
The chef came out of the kitchen to meet guests both times and had a few good words to share both with regulars and first time visitors.
only downside was that the place when packed (second visit was on a saturday night) had a bit of a waiting period to be served and the female waiter seemed kind of ... brash should i say... still she came back several times to ask if everything was ok and i supposed it could be just a a matter of local idiosyncrasy :) Certainly NOT a reason to avoid this place! If you can visit during the weeknights, you will effeminately have a more relaxed, full and pleasurable experience of the restaurant, its dishes and the Chef himself! Totally worth it!!

This local family restaurant nearly got a 1 star rating after reserving a table for a special occasion only to find on arrival they hadn’t taken the booking and offered a sparse looking unattractive part of the restaurant! Thankfully Boris our amazing waiter, big shout out for him, despite our criticism to him he made up for our poor start. He was funny, witty, so friendly & welcoming, he had 5 star customer service, he made the night and the restaurant. The food was also 5 star, really tasty starters & main courses. Gorgeous fillet of pork & pork chop & veggie platter to satisfy our hungry vegetarian in our party. The portions are huge, both the starters & main, but it’s nice they don’t mind you taking it home to feed on later. One added bonus & lovely touch is they make their own wine on site. We had the caveat of their white, it’s was full of flavour & had peach notes, delicious . Boris even gave us a bottle of their red to take home & try. So the night started sour but ended sweet & would recommend this place, but even more if Boris is working as he made the night!

Beautiful location outside Kathikas run by a family the husband is the Chef and the wife in charge of the restaurant. Its one of few restaurants in Cyprus were quality goes along with quantity.Every dish is cooked specially for you. After the meal a day's special cake is offered. If you are in Pafos don't miss to visite it.

We were recommended the Petradaki some time ago and weren't disappointed when we went for dinner with friends this evening. Everything was superb. There are plenty of choices on the menu and some Cypriot choices that I haven't seen before. The lamb Tavla was delicious accompanied by a fab white wine from their own vineyards. And their bread is not to be missed! Lovely ambience , decor, service and a warm, personal welcome from the family. It's the best!
