After going to the FS for evening dinner and the following day afternoon tea. I was hugely Impressed by both the staffs hospitality and excellent service. We were just day guests at the hotel and enquired if we we may visit there beach bar to have some drinks to which they were very grateful to help us and ordered a buggy straight down to the beach side. As a result of these great services I for one shall be visiting and staying in the near future!

My wife and I have justg returned from 7 days at the Four Seasons Koh Samui.
The resort, the rooms, the food and the service are truly magical.
We stayed in 205 which has an amazing view and was very private. From the villa its A 10 minute stroll downhill to the beach or 5-7 minutes to the main reception. Buggies are readily available within a few minutes to take you anywhere within the resort.
The Villa was by far the most luxurious property my wife and i have stayed in. You really couldn't ask for more. . I would highly recommend the coconut bath which you recieve free of charge (1 per stay)
Breakfast is served at KOH as is lunch and dinner. All are superb and high quality. The views are amazing!
You can also eat/drink at the PLA PLA beach resturant which is also superb..
The service and attentiveness of the staff is something we will never forget. Every need is catered for. The Four Seasons staff are by far the warmest and friendliest people I have ever met at any hotel/resort my wife and I have been to.

Yes it is expensive but worth every penny!

Room Tip: 205 is a superb Vlla which is very private. 10 minute walk to beach downhill. All rooms are amazing...

My reviews are usually very balanced, but on this occasion I have only good things to say. This is a fantastic resort hotel in a very beautiful spot of a special island.

I liked everything about this hotel. The rooms are excellent - we were upgraded to a lovely three bedroom residence overlooking the sea with a gorgeous swimming pool. The beach is spectacular and a wonderful restful place to spend the day. The more formal restaurant, Koh, serves very inventive Thai cuisine. The wine list even included my most favourite sauvignon blanc (from Klein Constantia). The breakfast buffet was really excellent. I particularly liked the beach front restaurant, Pla Pla (what does that mean?), where the food was less ambitious but very good. The spa was heavenly and I had an excellent Thai massage.

The best feature of all was the service. It was absolutely faultless from beginning to end - from the moment that we arrived at the airport to our departure three days later. Special accolades go to the drivers of the buggies that take one around the resort. This is an expensive hotel relative to others on the island, but in my view it is well worth the extra cost.

We stayed at the Four Seasons for a week in one of their hillside villas and had a wonderful stay. The villa was beautifully decorated and well maintained. A big plus about the villa was the fact that it provided complete privacy as it was nestled in between palm trees and tropical plants while providing a great panoramic ocean view.

The grounds were lush and green and it was nice to stroll around taking in all the scenery. As it is build on a steep hill it might be troublesome for some people to walk i.e. from the villa to the beach or restaurants, but you can always call for a buggy to take you from A to B.

One evening the staff had organized for us to send up paper lanterns, it was a great experience and it created such a special atmosphere and beautiful views. A Thai evening was also offered in one of the restaurants with traditional dancers in full costume.

The only negative was that the water in the ocean was very murky, so unfortunately it was impossible to do any snorkelling.

Room Tip: For ocean views and privacy choose a hillside villa.

We are very satisfied with everything, a lot of surprises, a great experience, the view at the Koh restaurant and the living room is amazing, the in-villa coconut milk bath is wonderful, we will come again.

Room Tip: Choose a villa at higher location or beach location can help avoiding Mosquitos and ants.

There is no detail that has gone unattended at this beautiful and beautifully run hotel on an isolated corner of Koh Samui with drop dead gorgeous views across the Gulf of Thailand.
For the perfect Thai experience nothing has been overlooked. The sights, scents and gracious delights of Thailand have all been integrated into the daily routine of a well planned facility and an even more well trained staff who never forget to call you by name and seem to really care that you are completely unwound. The only shortcoming might be the small pool which seems to be a gathering place for children and not too friendly for the serious swimmer. This is nitpicking however as if any place achieves perfection this is as close to it as you can get.
Villas are impeccably kept up and seem to have anticipated every need. The WOW factor is certainly evident at this hotel. .

Room Tip: even villas high on the hillside have spectacular views.

We have stayed in many of the best hotels in Asia and Thailand. FS Koh Samui is probably our favorite. The service is, even to be in one of the friendliest places on earth with lots of excellent hotels, outstanding and above the rest and on par with Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok (my personal reference for best service anywhere). The manager of the hotel is a woman of great character, with an incredible attention to details and the well-being of clients AND employees; employees are very proud of their hotel, and its shows and feels anywhere. The restaurants are either "on top" of island or on the beautiful private beach. They serve very good food. The breakfast is unique, and we have had the pleasure of great service from the excellent staff working at these restaurants. The suites are all very private and extraordinary in design and well planned, and with their own pools. The hotel is fantastic with kids; Its heaven! We will be coming back next year!!

Room Tip: Any room, but choose a room on the hill for views!
