This hotel has it all. The rooms were extremely clean and the balcony views were fantastic. The staff were all very friendly always smiling and happy to talk to you. The food in the buffet restaurant has got to be the best buffet food out of all the hotels in world that i've stayed in, it was always very fresh and with brilliant quality. Once at peak time in the restaurant there was not a table avaliable but we were seated within 5 minutes and while we were waiting we were each given a complimentary glass of champagne. The pool was very nice but was very cold but that must have been because I visited very early this year. The best part about the hotel has to be the private beach that was very nice. The outside areas of the hotel was always kept very clean there were always gardeners keeping the place tidy aswell as the housekeeping in the hotel they were very friendly. The bars in the hotel was very good too but there was not much to do in the evening but the musical entertainment was very good, the atmosphere was very nice there were always people getting up to dance. There was a Spa and Gym but we never got a chance to use these facilities but they looked very good. Overall this was a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony are worth the view.

We booked hotel st george on a half board basis. When we arrived they offered us a free all inclusive upgrade and a seaview room at their sister company The George Gardens, all i can say is wow, what a fab offer and holiday, apparently they had overbooked the george. Hotel staff very efficient and polite, food and drinks fantastic, especially the Pina Colada's. The deco in the George is absolutely beautiful. The weather in cyprus was fab. Its my first visit to cyprus and i fell in love with the place, i cant wait to go back next year. I wd definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: ask for a seaview room or pool view

This hotel is quite a way out of Paphos, but then the brochure does warn you. Bus from top of road to Pahos or Coral Bay. We hired a car from AGE Car Rental (by bus stop to Paphos) very helpful and reasonable prices.
The hotel is a little shabby, but again the brpocuhre warns that a refurb is on the cards.
Room 1413 good size as was the bathroom. Excellent shower although lighting in bathroom very dim. Paid for side sea view which was OK, but got no sun on balcony - might be a blessing in July or August but made balcony too chilly to sit on in April.
Breakfasts perfectly adequate if not inspired but evening meals were very good as was waiter service in dining room; which is more than can be said for the waiter service in the bars which was painfully slow even when quiet. We gave upon getting drinks in the bar and went to the excellent Saint Giorgio bar and restaurant just across the road every evening.
Pool area very pleasant with lots of beds, but the ones with blue matresses got reserved very early on, often by people who then seemed to go out for the day!
Problably wouldn't go back as we prefer somewhere nearer to town centre and found Paphos a bit too English for our tastes.

We had a weeks stay at this hotel over the easter bank holidays. This was our second visit to this hotel. Our first visit was 5 years ago in October. There has been some improvements since our first visit mainly the piano bar area and the conservatory terrace eating area. Our first holiday 5 years ago half board we enjoyed hence our return where we went all inclusive, this was not an option on the first holiday.
We were not disapointed, I agree the rooms do need updating but we were not in them very much as the weather was hot. Our main disapointment was there was no air conditioning although the room had a unit it didn't work when we telephoned reception we were told it was just a fan. As it was so warm we had to leave the patio doors open on a night, the first night my husband and I got bitten by mosquitoes several times and looking around the poolside there looked to be a lot of people who had big bites. We do not remember this happening in October . If the hotel think they are saving money by not switching the air con on till later in the season then they need to think again people will only use the air con if it is too warm. When you go on holiday you want to be comfortable, at this point I will say the bed was very comfortable. Towels were changed everyday but were passed their best for a 4 star hotel.
We had no compaints about the food the choice was excellent and the quality very good. we prefered to eat on the terrace/conservatory although further to get your food you were away from the hustle and bustle of others in the dinning room.
The staff deserve a mention they were always friendly and very polite, we never had any problems getting served in the bars or around the poolside. They all worked long hours and if i had to pick one out it would be Maria who always served us with a lovely smile.
The entertainments team also were very good although we did not join in with many of the activities Christian and his team were always happy to talk to us even as we were waiting to leave on our last day.
Would we return again? Would love to but would have to check if the air conditioning would be working before I booked.

Room Tip: worth paying a little bit extra for a sea veiw room (lovely sunsets)

Having just returned from a stay at the hotel I would like to say how much i enjoyed the great service i recieved. The staff in general were always helpful and approachable, but one young lady in particular was an absolute delight!!!! Nothing was too much trouble and even though at times she was rushed off her feet Georgia was always totally professional, and even had time for an update on how our holiday was going and offering little bits of advice on things we may have been interested in. Thanks again to the St George and Georgia. Hope to return soon!
