We spend 2 weeks at the Tamarind Hotel Bed & Breakfast but to be honest would stay Half Board if stop again, as we eat in the hotel 13 out of the 14 night stay. The food was excellent and although it might be expensive it was no different to the 1 night we ate out at Scarlets which is just located across the road from the hotel. The staff were very professional and could not do enough for you, especially Mark who served behind the bar Toni and Joyce who looked after us in the restaurant and Sarah who greeted us every morning for breakfast. Me and my husband were celebrating our 50th birthday's and our 25th Wedding Anniversary and were upgraded to an Ocean View Room which was absolutely beautiful and arrived to 2 cakes saying Happy 50th Birthday and Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary, plus a bottle of wine. House Keeping was done every day and everywhere in the hotel was spotless. We are hoping to returning next year.

Great hotel in a perfect location with very friendly staff. The hotel beach was clean and there were plenty of sun beds etc. The water sports provided by the hotel were well run and safety was paramount. Water skiing, snorkel hire, boat trips , donut and banana rides were all complimentary . Additional $50 paid snookering with turtles and to see the ship wreck. The hotel staff came round with fruit, cold water, cold towels and ice creams throughout the day. Hotel food both at the bars and in the restaurant was of really good.

Room Tip: Sea room view had beautiful sunsets

We were there for 5 nights had a beach view room and I have to say it was really worth it. The beach has some incredible sunsets and made the room gave us a great chance to see it every night without having to be on the beach.
The food in the restaurant was great in the evening but breakfast was a battle every day to stop the birds eating your food (you cant turn you head for a second)
The turtles are just off the beach in front of the hotel so close you can swim out to them if you really want to.
The only negative I can point out is that there are people selling on the beach and they are relentless. There are clearly tensions between some of them which can make it a bit awkward as if you do chose to buy anything other look on as if you have done something wrong by not buying from them.

Room Tip: Get a beach front room, its well worth the extra.

Really impressed with this hotel the staff were excellent very professional and service orientated.
The rooms were comfortable we had an Ocean view very clean with housekeeping top draw.
Plenty of very good restaurants nearby if you don't want to eat in the hotel every night.
Would recommend The Cliff pricey but top quality,The Sandpiper Hotel very good,CinCin also very good also Lonestar this has just been revamped but very good.

Great hotel, wonderful location on Payne's Beach. Excellent rooms with all the amenities you can think of. Rilak's deck was a great location for lunch overlooking the sea. All in all a truly memorable stay at the Tamarind :)
