Spotlessly clean and very comfortable accommodation. The owner could not have been more helpful and obliging offering food when I turned up late and advice when I needed it. Gilly is a great cook...try his curry. I was not on vacation but for those who are the beach is just down the road and major facilities not far away. A great place to stay! Pat will give you a welcome home from home.

I have always stayed at Palm Paradise when visiting Barbados. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and found Palm Paradise to be neat and well maintained. Besides, both Pat and Gilley add a personal touch to everything they do. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who embarks on a visit to the lovely little island of Barbados!!!

Spotless & comfortable room, lovely garden and good location, less that 10 minutes walk to fantastic beaches and buses up and down the coast. Pat & Gilly, very welcoming and always available to advise on how to get about & what to see & do. We stayed during the Holetown festival which was a big bonus.

Room Tip: We wanted a room with balcony, the only one available was the paradise suite, which was very big wit...

my return to palm paradise hasnt disappointed me, a last minute change of plans, i called from UK, pat always charming said she had a room, I arrived a bit stressed, within hours I was feeling relaxed. Lovely spotlessly clean room and guest areas, pat and gilly are a fount of local knowledge, very helpful, their driver will collect and deliver you to the airport, seamless transfers.
Short walk to beach, and bus stop, very convenient. Lovely breezy lounge to sit in, breakfast served up by gilly, who will always accomadate your food preferences.pool is a lovely addition since my last visit, a dip on a hot day fab, very good value for money, and a lovely situation.
All in all a wonderful place for a either a short break or a long holiday, this guest house run by a lovely english lady and her partner gilly, is a real find,

Room Tip: blue room is lovely and breezy, having 2 windows on either side of the bed

Palm Paradise is a wonderful guest house located on a hill overlooking the ocean at St James beach. On arrival we were greeted by Pat and her right hand man Gilly, Pat informed us that we had been upgraded to the "Paradise Suite" featuring a large terrace overlooking the ocean, not a bad start! Pat built Palm Paradise about 6 years ago and takes personal interest in her guests well being. When she found out my girl friend likes fruit and yogurt for breakfast, something that's not on the breakfast menu, she immediately went out and bought fresh fruit and yogurt. She has extensive knowledge of the island and gave us many tips on where to visit with the rental car that she had arranged for us (at a better rate than what we had found on the internet). While we were there she also drove two single female guests to one of the attractions because they didn't have a car. The guest house well located about a 10 minute walk to the beach, about 15 minutes by bus from Hole Town and 25 minutes from Bridgetown. There are several good restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel. Pat also offers home cooked dinner for hotel guests. After arriving home I discovered I had left 3 shirts in a dresser at the hotel, no problem..........Pat has mailed the shirts to my home. If you're looking for a spotless guest house offering excellent service and good value you can't go wrong here.

Room Tip: The excellent Cariba Restaurant and bar is a 5 minute walk from Palm Paradise

Clean, great food and really nice hosts. The rooms have AC installed, although one must pay extra for using it. Walking distance to Holetown, though the transit system is very convenient too. Would certainly go back.

We were reccomended to stay at Palm Paradise by some very good friends, and what a reccomendation that was.Pat and Gilly cant do enough for you and will advise on everything about Barbados with such great knowledge.Position is perfect,5 minutes walk to lovely Paynes Bay beaches and 15 minutes drive to Bridgetown. Local chickens may strutt around and you will see fire flys at dusk. You will receive a warm welcome, lovely home made food and so much better than staying at one of the resort Hotels, which I have done.

Room Tip: The Paradise Suite we stayed in was superb.
