“Beautiful and tranquil”
Reviewed 20 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Absolutely outstanding, so tranquil and beautiful the pictures cannot do Ta Torri justice and there was everything we needed there and more. The locals are friendly and inviting and Malta is stunning We will definitely returning to Ta Torri and Malta.

“Delightful”
Reviewed 29 July 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Eight of us spent 10 days here in early April. We arrived just after Malta had experienced some pretty grim weather, but thankfully we had beautiful weather the whole time we were there. It got quite cool in the evenings but the heater in the main room was extremely efficient. The pool was used by some of us, but not the ones who prefer warmer water. (The sea was warmer than the pool). It took a little while to get in, but once in it was lovely and worth the effort. A definite bonus to an already wonderful place. Not the easiest place to stay for those with disabilities as there are many different levels to deal with, but I would imagine this would be heaven for children. Lots to do, all sorts of wild life in the gardens and such a historical building with all sorts of places to explore.
Despite being close to the airport we did not find this a problem. To start with the walls are so thick you do not hear the planes through them and even in the garden, it is merely a novelty seeing a plane appear as it takes off from the airport.
The only downside is dust. The property is quite close to a quarry and quite a bit of dust will settle. None of us are prone to asthma, so this was no problem to us, but worth bearing in mind if any of your party are. Keeping the roadside windows closed certainly dealt with the problem as far as the main house was concerned.
We hired two small cars while we were there and this worked well as we didn't all want to go in the same direction every day. I would just like to emphasise here that you need to be aware of the speed cameras around the airport area!!!! (Not just as you come out of the tunnel).
Driving is easy in Malta and we made sure we had cars that we could take over to Gozo - a visit there is a must, so always check you can do this if hiring a car. Not all hiring companies allow this.
This wasn't just any holiday rental, this was an experience which fuelled the imagination and provided far more than just a place to stay. You just don't feel the need to go out every day - in fact just the opposite - I was more than happy to just stay put and absorb the atmosphere around me.

We visited with our family so there were a few of us but thankfully the place was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The photos don't do it justice, it's lovely. So big you can alway find a place to be alone. The air con was a godsend as it was very warm. Beautiful gardens and a great pool. The owners had put lots of information around the house to tell you about its past.
The bedrooms were all a good size and lovely and clean, plenty of bathrooms as well.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and leads on to the outside dining area which is equipped with a gas bar b q .
The pool is a great size and just the right depth. There were plenty of seating areas around the whole garden and sun loungers by the pool and lots of umbrellas for keeping in the shade.
There are various small roof terraces , and even a stone staircase.
The lounge is equipped for everyone, plenty of seating, books to read, games to play and even a TV and dvd player.
The local supermarket is only 10 minute drive for all your needs and for the more adventurous try the local shops.
The owners have really thought about the whole experience, the gardens are looked after by a local gardener and the pool is tended most mornings to make sure it's ready for each day.
The whole experience was wonderful, we can't wait till our next visit.
We would highly recommend this holiday home.
5 star from start to finish.
Thanks for a great experience

“Very special and wonderfully beautiful - a very happy place!”

We arrived at just gone midnight and immediately started exploring 'Ta Torri', filled with excitement we eventually went to bed which was most comfortable.
The pictures advertised of 'Ta Torri' in my opinion do not do it justice, 'Ta Torri' is truly far more beautiful than any photographs can depict.
Fully air conditioned/dish washer/BBQ/ample bedding/towels/fully equipped kitchen and a well kept pool are just some of the little extras, you will want for nothing.
'Ta Torri' has been sympathetically restored by the Family who have owned it since the 60's and really is charming.
The 'Torri' (Tower) has it's own individual bed sit which is brilliant for anyone who wants to chill or if you have difficulty managing stairs this would be ideal.
I and all who stayed at 'Ta Torri' cannot say enough good things and we are honoured to have stayed in such a very 'Special' place.

“Little piece of heaven”
Reviewed 3 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

What a wonderful mix of traditional grandeur and modern comforts. Ta Torri is one of the best self catering places we have ever stayed in, my partner and I stayed for 10 nights and were very sad to leave. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms cool with the air con, the large lounge area in a beautiful old room and the gardens and pool just fantastic. The walk to the butchers, convenience stores and bars is no more than 10 minutes. The people of Mqabba could not be more friendly and accommodating. We did not hire a car, ten minutes in taxi from airport and frequent buses to Blue Grotto and ancient temples.

I think the title pretty much says it all.
A beautiful villa in a charming little village.
The highlight of the property is the huge walled garden which the owners are rightfully proud of. Loads of beautiful plants and wildlife to relax amongst when you're not sipping a cold local wine in the pool.

Very well equipped kitchen.

I just can't fault the place in any way.

A stunning bit of private heaven in Malta. Perfect place to unwind surrounded by beautiful walled gardens and a charming old house which has been affectionately modernised. Close to all key attractions (not hard in Malta!) for great site seeing: hiring a car is a must. Planning our next trip back we loved it so much!
