Just rturned from week at Arundel what a lovely family but god our room was a health hazard, room 1 on ground floor carpet had rips in they glued it for us when we complained the shower curtain and bath had black mold they changed the curtain. The shower worked sometimes and broke completely on the third day the sink almost came away from the wall and the black mold was all around it, we did complain they did not have another room they said for us.The lady I shared with was 92 she could not get in the bath no grab rails, no disabled facilities room was dark and gloomey and we could not wait to get out of there, we have both come back with coughs and mine as turned into a chest infection.Find somewhere else the food is great but the hotel need a good sort out a our room a visit from the health inspector.

Room Tip: upstairs seems more lighter

A Coach Company booking at.a well run family hotel where clearly cost is an important factor. There is no reception desk,We were told our room number and the key was in the door. The room was of good size with tall Victorian ceilings and a good view. We were half board and the dinner was good, although the menu was very limited. On subsequent days we were invited at breakfast to chose dinner from two or three main courses.
the public rooms are impressive with a good size bar and excellent lounge.
The staff, seemingly all family, were friendly and attentive in this "Economy Class Hotel".Some usual extras were missing, but having all meals served was superior.
no complaints, but I would prefer to pay more and get a few extras.

Well we had read the reviews before we arrived,, good job we bought the screwdriver for everyone did get stuck in the bathrooms as the handles are not fitted properly. At first it was a laugh, faulty towers!! The peeling walls, the dodgy fittings, the bed head fell off, the curtains were rags, the tv signal sometimes worked! And who needs a shower anyway?? it was hard to wash, and the bruise on my side from the bed springs soon lost its fun element. Well at least they had a bar... hmmn the beer tasted like rotten home brew, and another guest caught me on the stairs to whisper "dont drink the beer". Three doors down is a lovely bar by the way with wifi. Well we are not fussy and we know how to rough it,, many years of youth hostelling ,,,, however the morning the toast arrived covered in mold was the day we went home. I have the pics to prove it!! I know it was cheap, but when George was asked about issues he seemed totally unaware of the desperate state of the place, he was in a land of his own ego, with his poor hard working wife tailing after him. I recommend The Hotel Inspector!

I stayed at this hotel in April and my first impression was 'what have I come to' but, don't be fooled by the 'sea worn' look of this hotel - this is a lovely family run private hotel - George & wife (helped along with other family members) provided a first class, personal approach to this hotel - nothing was too much for them. Ok the rooms are a tad dated, worn etc. etc. but, were clean, tidy and comfortable with plenty of storage space for my shoes. The meals were vast - some of the puddings were 'to die for' and we needed a good stroll afterwards to walk them off - you simply didnt go hungry. There was something for everyone. There is a lounge & bar area with a reasonable dance floor & one evening there was an entertainer. Hotel situated fairly close to sea front and all amenities. I would definitely go back again.

Room Tip: I had the basement front double room - very quiet and fantastic spacious wardrobe. Fairly quiet as...

Just returned from a 4 night stay with Just Go Holidays. George his family and staff were so welcoming. The meals provided were first class, especially the home made steak pie, the best, my husband says, he has ever had. Even provided a packed lunch for our journey home at a very reasonable cost. Comfortable lounge to relax in with entertainment two of the four nights. Although we arrived at the hotel early our rooms were ready for us. We had a good sized room, which was bright and airy. The only down side was that the rooms are rather dated, and furniture old and worn. Bathroom also very dated, would benefit from a shower unit or grab rails around bath, as we did experience difficulty getting in/out of bath and fear of falling. However, the room was clean and tidy and the bedding and towels beautifully white. Would we stay again, yes definitely, because the positives outweighed the negatives.

Just had a 5 day coach holiday at this lovely family run hotel. You are made welcome from the minute you arrive. Rooms clean and the food great, just too much! I can't wait to go again and would certainly recommend it.

Four day break with "Justgo" Room clean but minor things such as only one wall light working, odd taps etc. Food excellent and owners would accommodate any reasonable request. They were very pleasant and welcoming. All in all very good value and would use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Rooms at back are quieter.
