As someone that usually stays in hotels as opposed to b+bs, I have to say that the Langtons was a lovely experience. We stayed in the All at Sea room, what a lovely view of the Sea and we were fortunate to have a lovely sunny weekend. The room was lovely, bed comfy and all that you need in the room. If you want a drink or snack (crisps/chocolate) these are available just outside your room with an honesty pot in which you leave your money and all reasonably priced. Breakfast was lovely, full English, but also loads of other choices ie. cereal, yoghurt, toast etc is available. You are given a key so that you can come and go as you please and Karen and Mark are lovely hosts, highly recommended.

Our stay at Langtons Guest house was a pleasant experience. Karen and Mark were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, we were disappointed there was no fresh fruit available but there weren't really any other complaints. All in all it was a nice stay with good people.

Room Tip: Both of the rooms we had were not suitable if you were a little lacking in mobility or disabled as w...

I needed a single room for the night in the area, with on-suite, including breakfast, which wasn't a dump or charging over the odds. The Langtons Guesthouse hit all the buttons. I'd trawled TripAdvisor and was impressed with the reviews and photos and gave it go. I wasn't disappointed. I received a warm welcome, the breakfast was delicious (smoked salmon and scrambled egg), the room - although small was very comfortable, clean, a sea view and small balcony - all for £35. That's what I call value. I would definitely recommend and would like to find an excuse to return again.

This is an extemely nice guesthouse. It is very clean and comfortable. The owners are really friendly, trusting and give you a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious made with quality produce. The facilities are very good with a good choice of DVDs to watch at your leisure and snacks and drinks are reasonably priced and available at all times. We would highly recommend without reservation.

Room Tip: The Rose room has a good view of the sea from the front window and of the Downs from the back window...

We had a voucher for 2 nights and chose the Langtons as it was not too far to drive from our home near Sevenoaks. We were met by the Daughter of the house when we arrived. She was friendly and check in was quick and painless. Our room was on the 2nd floor so luckily our bags were light. The room was compact with a low coom ceiling, bright with a nautical theme. Beds firm and very comfortable, the tea tray was well stocked and some fudge added to the detail shown by the owners. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before, but you still have to wait for it being cooked. Logic? The food was good quality and well cooked.
A few tips...bring your own loo roll and a bar of soap as the supplied loo roll is tissue paper and the liquid soap hardly works.
Overall a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Check room descriptions on line. Our twin room was on the 2nd floor and round the back so very quiet...

Excellent B&B. Very clean room with sea view, wonderful cooked breakfast and plenty of it! Lovely idea having the fridge upstairs with drinks available. Good location, nice stroll into town along the seafront. Warm and welcoming too. Highly recommend.
