Lovely accommodation - excellent food - welcoming, friendly and helpful staff - really enjoyed our time there - wish it could have been longer. The City Sightseeing bus tour is a must. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: Front facing have lovely view over sea

I needed a place to stay whilst visiting my dad in Eastbourne. The Langtons Guesthouse fitted the bill perfectly! It is slightly out of the centre which makes parking so much easier and it's free! I loved the room I stayed in with its nautical theme and it was very clean, as were all the areas in the house. In fact, Karen leaves the doors open of the rooms not in use and the individual themed rooms are a delight to see! The breakfasts were delicious. Tea and coffee in the room were plentiful as well as the complimentary sweets - a nice touch. I liked the idea of the honesty basket to pay for a wide selection of snacks and drinks. I enjoyed finishing off my day with a spumanti wine in my room, watching the TV. Highly recommended. Thank you Karen and Mark.

We stayed at The Langtons while house hunting and found it to be a top place to stay.
The owners, Karen and Mark, are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and these views were echo'ed by other guests too.
We will be returning to Eastbourne soon, for more house hunting, and hopefully we will able to stay at The Langtons again, and experience more of those breakfasts.

Lovely guesthouse at quieter end of Eastbourne. Karen and Mark very hospitable and the breakfasts a delight. best I have had in ages. Had the single room very comfortable all needs attended too. Honesty trolley and fridge great idea, and a G anT in your room after the theatre rounds off the evening just so. 10 mins walk to the town centre, need it to walk off the great brekkies. I go to Eastbourne for the theatre nightlife when I can but there is plenty to do in the day so all good. Now that I have found the Langtons will be using them as my base from now on. Value for money and the individual rooms look lovely with the different themes. Also very clean and cleaned daily.GREAT STUFF

The welcome from Karen was really friendly, the accommodation was bright, clean and nicely furnished and the breakfast was excellent. We liked the fact that the rooms were individually themed and the view from our room 'All at Sea' was spot on. Both Karen and Mark have ensured that the feel of the guesthouse is very homely whilst still retaining a sense of privacy for the guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend this guest house to friends and family. From the initial phone call making the reservation until the time we left, everything was really well done including a nice touch of receiving a follow-up E-mail enquiring if we had enjoyed our stay.

A very attractive guesthouse on the quieter end of the seafront. The deco within is very tasteful and stylish. Each room seems to have a definite theme and its own distinct character. The single room is on the small size but is very smart. The bed is comfy, the heating effective, lots of channels on the TV which had a clear, sharp picture, delicious hot chocolate included in the tea and coffee selection. The bathroom is very small but functions very well. Really nicely scented hand pump soap and some sachet soaps and shampoos are supplied. It has a little balcony area also with a great seaview. The other rooms are much larger as they appear to be for two or more people.
Free use of DVDs were available. Drinks and snacks were also available to purchase. Lots of what's on leaflets and booklets on display at the front and by the dining area.
Breakfast was excellent. Very good selection of continental items and a cooked full English breakfast which included black pudding and potato based accompaniments and also a salmon with scrambled eggs option. There were also hot drinks, juices, fruits, cereals and a couple of toasters.
The welcome and service is very warm, helpful and friendly.
By far one of the nicest guesthouses in Eastbourne.

We stayed at the Langtons for a 1 night stay on our way to Brighton. This guesthouse is nice and cosy and we received a nice and warm welcome. The rooms are cleaned with confortable beds. The breakfast is well served in a little veranda. Nice place to stay for a few days in the South of England. Thank you Karen and Mark
