My husband and I stayed here on the final night (his actual birthday) of a 3 day trip to celebrate his 50th birthday. He is lighthouse buff and has always wanted to stay here, our only regret is that we didn't spend the whole 3 nights as it was a truly amazing experience. Shirley was very helpful and accommodating and we felt instantly welcome and comfortable as soon as she greeted us (what a lovely lady). We stayed in 'Beach Hut' as it has a view of Beachy Head lighthouse was very comfortable and modern. We spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the lantern room with other guests enjoying the complimentary drinks, breathtaking views and convivial company. Great breakfast in the lovely dining area, again with excellent views. Had we had stayed for more than one night we have liked to have spent time in the other lounge which had comfortable sofa's and a log burner as well as stunning views, very cosy for the winter. We will definitely return!
