Were slightly apprehensive before we arrived as we'd heard that the basic rooms at the back were rather ghastly. Well, phew! Being members of Best Western, we were upgraded to a side sea-view room.
It was a lovely room - really large, big window, comfy beds, although the furniture was rather ancient - big dark wooden wardrobe and drawers, rather stiff and heavy to open. The bathroom was modern with huge fluffy towels.
Downstairs consisted of lots of small lounges and was really cosy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly in the dining-room.
The meals were excellent. Plenty of choice at breakfast though the rolls and croissants could have been a bit fresher. Dinner was well cooked and tasty. The desserts were to die for!!
We'd certainly like to come again if only the M25 were not so awful!
