Owner description: The Beachy Head in Eastbourne is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

Very bleak and not a lot to see unless you go very near the edge, where you could see the lighthouse at the bottom of the clift.

Great views, amazing scenery! Don't forget to take your camera, but be careful - the cliffs are the highest in Britain and are dangerous! Walk on the pathways and enjoy a picnic in the grass. Very peaceful and quiet place. If you don't feel like picnicking, there is an amazing place near the cliffs - Beachy Head - great food, lovely garden with amazing ocean and field view, beautiful to enjoy a local ale when watching the sunset. The paths along the coast are not very steep, so you can take your buggy if you are having a baby, but again - be careful and stay away from the edge. Beautiful place to exploit, not too far from Eastbourne.

quite windy but nice walk and nice to see the lighthouse other than that it wasn't really worth paying for the car park. Better to go a bit further and go to the 7 sisters NT place and nice restaurant even if service is a bit slow. Have a walk on the beach and see the rock formations. Long climb down the steel steps though
