We had just abut given up finding an affordable, good clean hotel in Eastbourne where everything worked; like hot water, tv and with comfortable bed. Finding the Ravilious was a revelation. Breakfast is very good indeed and the experience of staying in the hotel is most enjoyable- it is obvious that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into creating a welcoming yet stylish ambience. We will stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed at the back- although I imagine the front was pretty quiet too.

I was about to give up on my online search for a decent hotel in Eastbourne when I found the Ravilious!

What a refreshing find! The decor is amazing and the staff are both welcoming and professional. Our room was perfect ---located in the back, and was very quiet.

The breakfast room is bright and airy and breakfast is cooked to order with ample choice to please all tastes.

The location is superb with an easy stroll to the seafront. It overlooks the tennis club and we enjoyed wonderful walks in both directions---Beachy Head and the marina. There was a great choice of restaurants within an easy walking distance and this area of Eastbourne is certainly an improvement on the main street despite being close enough for the chain stores if required.

We parked for free for the duration of our stay in a street across the road from the hotel which had no parking restrictions. I think we must have just been very lucky to get a space but I understand the hotel will issue a permit enabling you to park in restricted areas (though it might be worth giving them a call to check before you visit)

What a relief to finally stumble across an Eastbourne hotel without dated swirly carpets and festoon blinds!

I can't recommend highly enough.

Room Tip: We had room two at the back.Ground floor (though there is a long flight of steps to access the hotel...

Sometimes it's hard to make sense of Tripadvisor reviews as the 'ones' contradict the 'fives' and you wonder if people are talking about the same place. However, the reviews of Ravilious are almost 100% positive so we arrived here with high expectations.

We weren't disappointed! A really nice, modern and clean little hotel / B&B with really friendly and very helpful and welcoming owners.

We would definitely come back here if we were in Eastbourne again.

I stayed with my baby son, for our first time away since he was born. We were made to feel really welcome and just wish we could have stayed longer. The room was beautiful and breakfast really fresh and tasty! Fantastic to finally get seaside accommodation that's reasonably priced with a real feel of luxury.

Got there 7pm loved it from the moment we stepped in. Our room was lovely, on the top floor spotless airy and very spacious.
We only stayed 1 night unfortunately so only had one breakfast there, would have loved a few more.
Great location, great building, friendly staff and guests.
Definitely stay there again.

we have just returned from a 2 night stay at this beautiful B&B. We loved the decor of the whole house and the rooms. All spotlessly clean and our room first floor front was amazing. nice view over tennis club and a really good nights sleep. Breakfast was amazing - though we only had the eggs benedict - highly recommended. excellent value for money and cannot recommend highly enough

Room Tip: maybe top floor front as we could hear people moving about above us but it in no way detracted from...
