Just returned from a 3 day break at the Shore View. Great location along the promenade not far from the poor old pier. Room clean, bed comfortable, redecorated, small but ok for the length of time we were there. Shame about the shower, very very small with a shower curtain that wouldn't stay in the tray, so floor got very wet. Room 306 opposite the lift which could be a little noisy. Breakfast was quite good, you wouldn't go hungry. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn't use the evening meal in the hotel, just across the road, on the corner, the pub did excellent evening meals, was quite busy in there. Parking was a nightmare, so we left the car in its parking slot when we found one and never used it until we came home. Hotel sell you a parking permit for a £1 a day, good value.
