My wife & I arrived along with two friends for a three night stay to a warm welcome from Christine & Mark. Mark showed us to our standard double on the second floor. The room, whilst not oversized was well furnished & spotlessly clean - the biscuits on the hostess tray alone were worth the stay. The small en-suite was equally spotless with copious amounts of hot water at all times. The room (number 6) faced the back of the house & overlooked the adjoining terrace houses. In the distance we could see the Sussex Downs. A benefit of this room is that whilst it does not have a balcony it does catch afternoon sun & we were not disturbed by the traffic - only the seagulls!.
The breakfast room is a lovely well appointed room & the breakfast met all our expectations in as much as the 'Full English' was freshly cooked by Christine & served with a warm smile by Mark.
A further benefit of Breakers is the front conservatory which we used to drink our aperitif before venturing down town for our evening meal. Again, Christine & Mark could not have been more helpful, chilling the white wine for us & supplying us with glasses.
I'm sure many of the other b&bs along Royal Parade would be equally inviting, bit C&M are working very hard to create a good value for money stay - well worth a visit.

Room Tip: As said, room 6 is very quite - if that's what you want & don't mind the two flights of...

Stayed 3 nights at this excellent B&B while we walked some of the South Downs. The rooms were spotless and and towels and bed linen were high quality. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice for everyone. We will certainly recommend this great B&B to our friends.
Thank you for making us so welcome.

Room Tip: second floor double at front has a litle balcony with sea view

A return visit for me but a wonderful first time visit for my husband. Mark and Christine were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They are running a thoroughly professional establishment and we will highly recommending them to all our friends and colleagues.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms are superb!!

I grew up in Eastbourne & wanted to relive childhood memories of the beautiful sea views & this B&B was perfect. My awkward arrival & check out times were no bother as I was able to come & leave whenever suited.
The room was better than the pictures and overlooking the sea, with a step out onto balcony.
Impeccably clean, this is probably one of the most homely rooms we have ever stayed in.
The mattress topper was an luxurious touch which meant it felt like a expensive hotel stay.
Breakfast was perfect - fresh fruit, cereals, full English freshly cooked fresh quality tasty ingredients.
Location is within walking distance to the pier & town but with the prom on your doorstep it's nice just to head out for a stroll.
Parking isn't on site however do not let this put you off -plenty of spaces just behind in the side roads or on the front.

I would thoroughly recommend this beautifully renovated B&B -as a matter of fact I'm looking to rebook for next weekend :)

Just a note -a sea view room is a must if possible!

A last minute plan to walk the Seven Sisters and a search on the Internet led me to The Breakers and I'm so glad it did. My room exceeded expectations being a spacious double with King-size bed, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.Bedlinen and towels were of high quality and I loved the double shower. The room was on the first floor with a large balcony so you could take full advantage of a sea view and watch the world go by...
Mark and Christine were excellent hosts- very helpful when I needed extra milk and somewhere to leave my luggage until it was time for my train home on my last day.
Breakfast was delightful, great choice, attentive service and tasty food. I thoroughly recommend the Breakers - you will not be disappointed!

We booked this last minute, and everything was perfect.
The room was better than described, spacious and overlooking the sea, with a beautiful balcony.
Superbly clean, this is probably the best room we have ever stayed in.
The linen and towels were first class, none of the 'scratchy' stuff you sometimes get in hotels.
Breakfast again was excellent - fresh fruit, cereals, full English clearly freshly cooked fresh quality tasty ingredients.
Very central, mid-way on the pier, close to all amenities but very quiet and peaceful.
Ample parking in side roads or on the front.
Helpful owners, nothing too much trouble. Very highly recommended.

Room Tip: Go for the room on the first floor with balcony - lovely large bed and shower is great!!!
