“Excellent stay - Great hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

At the end of walking the "South Downs Way" we stayed 2 nights at Breakers.
Our room was quiet, beautifully refurbished, very spacious, comfortable and very clean.
The bathroom is very comfortable and the bed is very good.
The breakfast is complete and very delicious : first a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juice, etc., followed by a large choice menu for full english breakfast.
Mark is welcoming and very helpful.
Thus, this B&B is highly recommended !

Room Tip: If you prefer a sea view, go for front room with balcony.

We spent only one night at Breakers but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was very well appointed and comfortable and had a small balcony overlooking the sea. The morning breakfast offered a good range of alternatives, including excellent and tasty cooked options. Mark was very welcoming and helpful during our too brief stay. On our next visit to Eastbourne we will certainly return to breakers.

Room Tip: We had the front double with balcony and seaview. Excellent choice if you don`t mind being on the se...

We stayed two nights at Breakers due to unfortunate circumstances, travelling to the South for a funeral (From Aberdeen).

We had to book last minute for ourselves and a cousin.
We had a beautiful King room and coz had a single room. All accommodation was perfect. Lovely décor, clean, pristine and very comfortable. The whole building was inviting and classy. not a bit of frilly chintz to be seen, All very well done and sympathetically decorated to the style of the building. Lovely touches of stained glass, high skirting boards and chandeliers.
The Shower was great full power and roomy. Bed comfy.
Breakfast was gorgeous, tasty, hot and a great choice. Cheerfully served and made to order. the hosts were welcoming and cheery and we felt comfortable and well looked after. I certainly recommend the mushrooms and scrambled egg, MMMMmmmnnn :-)

All in all a perfect few days and even under the circumstances we had a happy and relaxed stay.
Thank you Mark and Christine - we may be back and would certainly recommend Breakers.

Oh and another thing. Great parking (not on site) but in the next road which was free.

Great B & B xx

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have great sea views and balconies Rooms at the back MUCH cooler certainly in th...

What a find! I had a lovely two night stay at The Breakers last week-end. I stayed in a single room which was very comfortable and well appointed. Christine cooked a lovely breakfast and Mark was most helpful with lots of advice and recommendations. I cant wait to come back ...

Mark and Christine made us feel welcome and at home the minute we walked in. They were friendly and helpful in any way they could, whether it was calling a taxi or giving good advice as to what to visit. The rooms were spic and span, as was the whole house, and cosy. Excellent breakfast and prime location at the seaside, not too far from the centre. If ever we get to go to Eastbourne again, I know where we'll stay...

A beautiful place to stay. I had a room with a view out to sea, it was very clean and decorated to a high standard. With tea making facilities in the room I was able to have tea on the balcony over looking the sea. The breakfast was really good. Fresh fruit, full English the mushrooms were excellent, I have not had such tasty ones for a long time.

Free parking on the street and a short walk into town.

Room Tip: Do ask for a sea view.
