Booked a long weekend in Premier Inn and as we booked in advance we got a very good rate. Room very comfortable and clean with choices of either a soft of firm pillow. No problem with booking online and no problem in checking in. Staff very friendly and helpful indeed. The heating was easy to adjust although the 'clicking' thermostat kept me awake, but this was easily remedied in switching the heating off overnight! Used both the Mill and the Toby Carvery for evening meals, both of which were thoroughly enjoyable. We did have breakfast at the Carvery (Toby Carvery 5 minutes walk away) and that was very good value for money too.

We didn't have any problems with noise, even though it is located on the main road. Only down side in my eyes is that there were no biscuits with the tea making facilities and limited TV channels, however this is extremely minor. Would I recommend this to others ... yes I most certainly would.

We had never stayed at a Premier Inn before. The website was fool proof. We phoned through to request that the 2 rooms booked be next door, extremely accommodating. Warm and friendly greeting, rooms warm, cleanliness throughout very good, relaxing and functional. Slept like a baby. Strongly recommend for a budget hotel. Well done Easrbourne.

Hotel and staff ok, we arrived very late new years eve after a delayed trip from Australia back to my home town.Inn next door caused issues after we had eaton there a few times. Waitress insisted our one year old need to pay full price for any meals or we could leave without eating, checked with her boss and prety much told us to [-] off. Must hate children. We had to travel for all our meals because we could not eat in the Inn next door. Tedious. Manager said she checked and tough. Baby must py for a full meal or go hungry. Very poor, not resolved and no appology either.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the New Year and everything was great. The staff we saw were all friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay. We did not eat breakfast at the Mill but ate at nearby Morrisons which was fine. The only thing we missed was a radio on the televison but we did not let this worry us.

We stayed at Premier Inn between xmas and new year 2012. Our room was comfortable with temperature control. Hairdryer in the room was appreciated and the fact our little one had a proper single bed, not a sofa was a bonus. We did not use the pub attatched to the hotel as we thought £8.25 for breakfast was very steep. We trundled off to Tesco and fed all 3 of us for the same price. All the staff were great and welcoming. the lovely lady even made a fuss of our little one and provided her with crayons and colouring paper with xmas designs on.

The shower worked well and there was always hot water to be had. Lovely clean fluffy towels, changed daily. And 30 minutes free Wi-Fi was a treat.

The hotel was great. Front desk staff were helpful. Room was modern and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Bed was comfortable - TV worked. Wi-Fi worked. I really couldn't fault anything about the whole experience.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the pub at the back - no traffic noise that way :)
