A late booking but from first call to reception to paying the account a very ,very enjoyable stay. We both needed a break and the warm welcome was continued throughout our short stay by all the staff. The room and hotel were very clean and cared for. Breakfast and the varied dinner menu were a treat .The hotel parking was ideal and the both the hotel and Eastbourne exceeded our expectations. The only downside was having to leave.

Room Tip: A king size room is worth the extra, the first floor fronting the road was not noisy but a rear room...

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Very relaxed, well organised and efficient. We had a lovely, spacious room, and there is a variety of rooms and suites on offer. The restaurant is a highlight, with a varied dinner menu that changes daily. The staff really enjoy their work, and are so helpful to people who are new to the town. Another guest told us the hotel has a high ratio of repeat bookings - that speaks for itself. We are already planning our next visit. Other travellers may be interested to hear that I'd be very happy to stay there on my own - It makes you feel at home and among friends.

Another excellent stay at the Devonshire Park Hotel, this time for pleasure instead of business. It was a busy weekend with the airshow but once we parked the car we decided to leave it there for the duration. Room and service were excellent as was the breakfasts. No charge as made to have the smoked fish for breakfast.
Well positioned and ideal for the Airshow, just a couple of minutes walk.
We will definitely be returning & a big thanks to Hugh & Harry.

With a blue sky, hot sun and a pleasant town like Eastbourne then no one would ever go abroad. A nice hotel helps and the Devonshire Park certainly provides a warm welcome and is spotlessly clean. It is in a great location near the sea, bandstand and Theatres and is near enough to town to make a pleasant stroll. With its own car park it is also great as a centre for touring East Sussex.

Breakfast is first class with plenty of choice and a great cooked breakfast in the true "Full English" tradition. We did not avail ourselves of the evening meal but it smelt good as we left to go to the theatre.

My only criticism is that it is slightly pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Room Tip: First floor overlooking the front and Congress Theatre was very good.

Stayed Saturday night with my wife as we "nicked" a quick weekend (day!!) at the coast as the children (22, 20 & 16) were otherwise occupied (V fest etc). Turned up early as the weather lovely and room ready and keys handed to us at 10am. Room lovely and clean, smart etc. Spent day on the beach, didnt eat in the hotel as we were out to see Gotta Sing Gotta Dance in local theatre. Ate @ restaurant Little Italy, superb but hotel menu did look top notch too. Back for drinks in the Hotel before bed, good service & even made sure we had enough water to get through the sultry night.Bed very comfortable although the seagulls were a trifle noisy outside but not the Hotel's issue. Breakfast was excellent, buffet crosissants, fruits, yoghurts etc followed by Full English which was first class. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back, well looked after. Any downside, well the building is old and would probably benefit from some air conditioning as it did get quite clammy but then its not often in UK you'd need to turn the air con on would you???

I think this was the the 6th annual visit. I've lost track of the number but for sure it was just as good as always. The room is comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The food and dining room staff is outstanding. I really enjoy my time here and look forward to next year's visit.

Am writing this in August although I was there in May.

Room Tip: Just let the staff know your needs and they will do what they can to make sure they are met (withing...
