I booked this hotel on the nett. Easy enough. Wasnt till I looked at it later that I noticed I`d booked a twin. Doh. Phoned the hotel up and was put through to an indiviual you changed the booking to a double., and also said he`d would up grade us as well. Brilliant. On arrival we were met and shown our room which had a sittingroom type loung in it and a small balconey Lovely. Bedding was blankets !!! not quilt ,as is normal but very nice beds( nothing beats your own bed) We slept well . We came in lat around 12.30 as we`ed been to a dance. If we had requireda drink from the bar the night porter would have dispensed same. Breakfast was from 8 till 9.30 ish . again good .(hate early 7.30 -8.30 breakfasts) serve yourself cerial then full english if required. Very nice . Overall very nice hotel

Room Tip: sk for an upgrade , you might get one you might not.

I stayed at the Devonshire Park in Eastbournr again and wasn't disappointed. The room was clean, tidy, airy and spacious and was serviced every morning. The staff were so helpful and friendly, attending to every need and the food was lovely, with a mega comprehensive choice for breakfast and it came piping hot as well!! The bed was mega comfortable and lots of teas.coffees/milks replenished all the time in the room. The bar was well stocked with a very friendly staff and stayed open quite late. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, it's well worth a stay!

Room Tip: Ask for one at the back as they're a bit quieter!

Stayed at this hotel over the May bank holiday. I was with a party of music club members from London and the south east. Staff helpful and polite. Excellent breakfast and dinner provided, and room clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with a number of Ladies (and several gentlemen) as we were down from Norfolk for a conference. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - we asked if we could pre book lunch on both days at a set time and although the second day we finished earlier than expected, the lunch was soon provided. All the staff were very helpful, especially young Harry who put up with some teasing from several of the ladies and took it all in his stride. The rooms were clean and comfortable and both the breakfast which was self service and the evening meal were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

we had an overnight stay as we were going to the theatre.we had a lovely room, the staff were very friendly it was spotless and the breakfast first class..we ordered a sandwich before we went to the theatre and it was really tasty.this was at 11pm.the bed was very comfortable and we had a perfect night sleep.our room overlooked the congress theatre where we were going so we just had to cross the road after the show, there are also 2 more theatres in close proximity.

Room Tip: noise doesnt seem to be a problem here so all the rooms seem fine.

Our 4th stay at this hotel was just a good as the first 3 - a shame we only had the time for a single night, we'd love to spend longer in this great hotel. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a suite this time, what a lovely surprise.

Even the most curmudgeonly person would not be able to find fault with anything here. It's spotlessly clean, the breakfast is great and the staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the beds are supremely comfortable. If you want a hotel in Eastbourne, this is the one. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

Stayed for four nights on business. Very helpful and friendly staff in a lovely old building with high ceilings and many original features. It was a little draughty right next to the sash windows but the heating more than compensated. Excellent breakfasts!
