“Will definitely come back again!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

Probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. The owners of the house made our trip so much more enjoyable - since the warm welcome till the all necessary information needed about the town. The rooms were splendid and the breakfast were great too. Since the minute we left the hotel, I understood that I have to visit this lovely place once again.

Room Tip: All rooms are great - Irish sea at the front and Snowdonia at the read side.

We visited in April for the 2nd time (the first time being in September 2013) for our 1-year anniversary. We came back because the owners, James and Jackie, are so friendly and cater to every request. When we visited for the 2nd time they remembered us straight away and even managed to give us our old room which we loved (which had also recently been renovated and was so cute and fresh!), they even remembered our breakfast favourites!

The Location
The Britannia is at the end of the front, within a 15 minute walk of the pier. The walk back from Llandudno's great restaurants along the front with all the hotels lit up at night was so magical. James provides you with a map on your first day, having already hand picked a selection of restaurants and attractions he thinks you might like - great for newbies!

The Rooms
The rooms are great, amazing beds (the best nights sleep we've ever had!), a great tray filled with tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits etc. and loads of storage. The bathroom was modern and had an amazing walk-in corner shower.

The Breakfast
Our waitress on both occasions was so friendly and made sure we were happy at all times. Great selection of cereals and juices to start with, and an awesome cooked breakfast to follow. The breakfast was tailored to our tastes, and was delicious! We always left feeling full and happy, ready to start the day!

Local Restaurants
We definitely recommend The Albert - food is great, lovely atmosphere and very varied menu. Middle of the road kind of prices. The best fish and chips in Wales can be found at Fish Tram Chips and we also tried Harvey's Bar and Grill for authentic american diner-style food.

The Orm
SO worth the climb, we hiked for a couple of hours, and the views were amazing. Make sure to climb to the top and try one of the home-made ice creams!

Thank you so much for two very special stays, and we look forward to coming back again!

Room Tip: Even though only half of the rooms have a sea view, the back rooms have an incredible view of The Gr...

Had we known how good it was going to be we would have booked to stay longer. Welcome tray of tea sachets (including flavoured), plentiful little pots of milk, coffee, chocolate drink, cookies. Kettle.hair dryer and TV. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bedding, pristine en-suite with plenty of hot water from a really good shower. Matching high quality curtains and cushions.Three minute walk to the bus stop and £1.50 fare into town. (£2.80 by taxi so if more than 1 person taxi is cheaper). Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. James was a very amiable and welcoming host and made all guests feel welcome. Jackie cooks a lovely full English breakfast with all sorts of variations available. Orange juice and cereals too. Endless hot coffee/tea/toast. Brilliant.(Evening meals at The Albert). Happy Birthday Jackie... Patricia

Room Tip: Number 4 first floor front has a lovely sea view to watch the sun setting over the sea and Great Orm...

Stayed for two nights and it was wonderful. I recommend it wholeheartedly!Room and view is fabulous. James gave us a map and showed Llandudno attractions and restaurants are highly recommendable. The view from the windows worth the money, really. Free wi-fi. I recommend.

Room Tip: I recommend room with a sea view. A lovely experience. Very nice.

Check-in is specified until 20:00 but as we were travelling a distance after work, I contacted the guest house and was told it wouldn't be a problem to check in later. We arrived around 21:00 and spoke with James who was very friendly and welcoming. He was knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a map and some sight-seeing and dining suggestions. He offered us a free upgrade to a sea-view room as it hadn't been booked. In the morning, the bathroom facilities were great and the breakfast was excellent. Superb value for money and amazing service. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Room Tip: If you haven't booked a room with a sea view, ask if any are available on arrival, and you may b...
