We have stayed at the Wildings Hotel on numerous occasions now because we have found it to be so perfect. Warm friendly welcome from owners. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Hotel is always very warm so ideal for winter stays. Rooms are spacious, really clean and have lovely bathrooms. Situated in centre of Llandudno, on promenade so have lovely sea views and just steps away from the shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the Great Orme. Breakfasts at the hotel are very tasty and owners can recommend some nice places to eat of an evening. All in all the best hotel we have stayed in which is why we return time and time again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and we were impressed.

Our rooms were spacious, clean and warm with very comfy beds. Breakfast was superb - the best bacon and sausages I have had in a hotel.

Frank and his staff were welcoming and efficient.

Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for three nights in June - we had two rooms, one for my husband and two children (aged 1 and 2), and one for my Mum. Our room, 4, overlooked the seafront. The views were spectacular. We had a massive king size bed (VERY comfortable!), a fold down bed and a cot, and there was still loads of room left to get around. There was ample storage space, perfect for when you have the masses of luggage that goes with travelling with two small children! Mum's room, 5, was at the back of the hotel and overlooked the Great Orme. For a single room it was very comfortable, with a double bed.

We paid for bed, breakfast and evening meal (£56 per person, per night in total). Breakfast was served between 8am and 9am, and dinner at 7pm. The food was amazing - good quality, lots of choice and HUGE portions.

Frank and Christine, the owners, were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome.

The only downside was the lack of parking. You have to park on the street and it was sometimes very difficult to get a space whilst we were there, e.g. my husband missed most of the first half of the England v Germany game (maybe a good thing?!) due to waiting for a space to become free and had waits of up to 40 minutes at other times. I must add that this is an issue for Llandudno in general, not just the Wildings Hotel. For info, between 10am and 4pm you have to pay £3 to park and it was free outside of these times.

What a great place to stay. It's right on the water, and everything is only a short walk away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. Decor is slightly dated, but things are very clean and well looked after. Food was delicious. Conversation with the other couples and the staff was even better.
Things not to be missed:
-walking on the pier
-The Kings Head pub
-Fish Tram Chips
-Great Orme

This small hotel/guest house is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the cooked breakfasts are very good. The owners and staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a lift to all floors, unusual in this size of hotel. It's really well-situated for the pier and the prom attractions but is also quiet and in an attractive row of similar buildings.

With so many hotels and B&B's available in Llandudno it's not always easy to choose the right place to stay. I chose The Wildings Hotel based on location, reviews, the rooms and price. The location is opposite the sea front by the pier but certainly not noisy. Previous reviews have mentioned about Frank & Christine's hospitality and I would vouch for that. They are willing to stop and have a chat and make you feel at home. Tha room I stayed in no.1 has a lounge with settee, fridge and t.v. - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hotel is very clean and has an air of peace and relaxation about it. The front lounge overlooking the seafront is very nicely decorated and again relaxing. I have to say the breakfasts are fantastic and Frank & Chris certainly catered to our needs. I believe the price to stay at this hotel is good and would definitely stay there again.

Having read previous reviews prior to booking for attending a family wedding, it was a no-brainer given the excellent feedback. With staying only one night, it's difficult to give meaningful opinion about what others have referred to but the stay, on the whole, was fine.

Frank, the proprietor, kindly agreed to an earlier check-in to allow time to prepare for the aforementioned event. The hotel is located on the promenade, at the Great Orme end, and only a five minute walk, if that, into the centre, and has a lovely view from its doorstep.

The building is well appointed, and decorated tastefully and very homely, clearly catering to those 50 and above. The room was reasonably spacious, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was entered via a sliding door and the shower cubicle was disappointing – it was they type found in a static caravan, so I was quite surprised when I discovered it.

Breakfast was superb – bacon, egg, tomato, mushrooms, sausage, fried bread and toast (cereal and fruit was also available).

I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel with the watchword that it is more akin to someone's home rather than a hotel, but imagine this being superior to most other independent establishments in the resort.
