“A great place to stay”
Reviewed 15 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

The location is ideal (a short stroll to amenities) and the house is spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped.
Parking was not a problem and the owners were always on hand if needed.
A lovely relaxing break and would thoroughly recommend.

Dear Robert,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We're so glad that you liked the house & it's location. It's a gentle stroll into town but then a quiet house to retire to in the evenings. We'd love the opportunity to welcome you all back to the house in the future.

With very best wishes,
Gaenor.

Thank you Kathryn for taking the time to write such a great review. I manage the house on behalf of the owner Janet - I wish it were mine! I'm so glad that the boys enjoyed having the top floor of the house to themselves, there's certainly no shortage of space. We'd love to have the opportunity to welcome you again when you're next in Llandudno.

Beautiful, well equipped house in a lovely area! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again. The house is peaceful and welcoming, in a very convenient location. Our week here went far too quickly!

Dear Emma,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I am so glad that you enjoyed your holiday here in Llandudno. As you say, Canvas is very well placed to be handy for town but is away from the busiest areas. We would love to have the opportunity to welcome you & your family again.

Kind regards,

“A hidden gem in Llandudno's crown...”

This is the second time that we have visited Llandudno as a family. Last time we stayed in a lovely B&B (Rosedene) - but this time wanted the flexibility and comfort of our own house. After looking around we chanced upon Canvas 47 - and I can say we never looked back. The location of the house is brilliant - on Church Walks, near the two shores, the Orme railway and plenty of food choices. The owners of the house were fantastic - and so helpful. The house was comfortable with great facilities (only small downside was no Wi-Fi - perhaps a blessing!) Plus our children (aged 4 - 10) *absolutely* loved the place. We plan to return!

Dear Simon,

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. It was great to hear that all of the family enjoyed staying in the house. We certainly enjoyed looking at the children's artwork on the chalkboard documenting the places you visited whilst here.

As you say, the lack of wifi can be seen as either a positive or negative. It is something that will be reviewed next year depending on customer feedback over the first year of letting.

We would love to welcome you back to Canvas anytime!

With very best wishes,
Gaenor.

“A fantastic place to stay!”

We had a great holiday in this spacious villa, set just above Llandudno Bay. The house is in excellent condition - it has obviously been recently renovated - yet it retains its old-world charm. The walls are covered in beautiful artworks, apparently painted by the former owners. There was plenty of room for all of us, several bedrooms, at least four bathrooms, large living room (with log fire) and dining room. The beds are comfortable, the linen crisp, and the location is excellent. We walked down to the harbour most evenings for dinner (although we could have eaten in, the kitchen is huge) and found some lovely places within walking distance - my favourite was Osborne House. We loved it!

Dear Angela,

Thank you so much for the lovely review.

Yes, the artwork was painted by the former owners & is indeed a beautiful addition to the house. It is great that you all enjoyed the house & its handy proximity to the many eateries & seafront.

Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back to Llandudno in the not too distant future.

Thank you again for the great review.

“Beautiful house, great location, probably few better holiday rentals in Llandudno.”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

My wife and I visited Llandudno at Easter and thought then that we would like to come back in Summer and bring the children. In our own inimitable style we didn't book anything until the last minute. We're always wary when a holiday rental, with no reviews, is still available during peak season, but our concerns were allayed when we learnt that we were the first to book this house, as it was newly listed.

Thankfully, you can trust the photos you are presented with on the booking site, but they cannot do this beautiful house justice.

This really is a wonderful house, with so many original features, you can tell it has been lovingly restored. The children loved it and enjoyed "fighting" over which room to have. We were a party of five, but it could easily accommodate another two or three.

The children particularly loved the upstairs "canteen" and were inspired, by the original artworks all over the house, to draw their own creations on the "blackboard wall".

I could go on and on, but suffice to say I couldn't recommend this house enough: great location (walking distance to all of Llandudno's amenities), great views, excellent, friendly and attentive post-booking and check-in process, well-priced, spacious and light.

Many things about this house made me feel nostalgic about long-forgotten seaside holidays from my childhood, it was great to have those memories revived and feel like a kid again, even if it was just for a week (I am 45, it's worth pointing out).

I'm sure we will be back.

Dear Lindsay,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an amazing & comprehensive review - & you haven't even left yet!

Like you say, you were the first family to book to stay in the house (when quite a few internal images were still to be added to the site) & we are so glad that it has surpassed you expectations. It is a great space for families with plenty of room to spread out.

The house has indeed been lovingly restored & it is great that it brought back memories of a traditional seaside holiday. That is exactly the feel that we were aiming for.

We would love to welcome you & your family to Canvas47 at some point in the future & would like to thank you again for being the first to book & for providing a review which I am sure will be helpful to those considering a visit!

With Kindest regards,
Janet (owner) & Gaenor (manager).
