Just returned home from a really brilliant midweek break staying at The Carmen. Trisha and Steve greeted us with a very welcome cuppa and showed us around the house, which is amazing . It's a beautiful old house with many original features. Our bedroom was light, very comfortable and had a lovely shower en-suite.Everywhere is spotless and the whole house is indeed 5 star !! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and made with good quality ingredients and endless toast and tea. Nothing is too much trouble and there are so many little touches that made our stay even more special. Road parking is no problem, plenty of spaces outside the house and in easy reach of many places to eat. It's a shame to tell anyone about this fabulous place as we would like to keep it our little secret !!!!can't wait until our next stay. Dawn and Steve Bailey from Stoke on Trent

The Carmen guest house is truly a superb place to stay while in Llandudno. You are greeted by Steve and Trish who are very welcoming hosts and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The guest rooms are absolutely first class, spotlessly clean and very we'll decorated and all being en-suite. You couldn't wish for a more comfortable bed to end you day. Mornings are even better with one of Steve's amazing full English breakfasts! ( god can that lad cook). Trish serves up with a welcoming smile and is always ready to pass time with guests. The Carmen has a lovely lounge area with a fridge full of chilled wines and beers for you're enjoyment. This beautiful guest house is situated just a short stroll from the seafront promenade and a short walk from shops and places to eat and drink. I truly cannot praise thie Carmen enough, you have to stay there to find out . I would not hesitate to stay in this amazing guest house again.it would always be my first port of call if in Llandudno, I would have gladly stayed another week if time would have allowed. Steve and Trish have a truly wonderful home for your stay

Room Tip: They are all good rooms

My partner and I stayed at the Carmen for two nights, from the 11th to the 12th April. We wanted a weekend away to celebrate my Birthday. I was made to feel very welcome from the start of our stay due to the Birthday card and chocolates from Trish and Steve that greeted me when I got into our room. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was cooked to order by Steve and was most enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Carmen to anyone, and look forward to a return visit.

Had an excellent stay at the Carmen last week. Trish and Steve are very welcoming hosts and their guest house is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed. We enjoyed a pre dinner drink in the guest lounge before a two minute walk to a very good Chinese restaurant. The Carmen is exceptionally well positioned for the sea front and for the theatre and a short bus journey or better still a stroll along the bay (especially after one of Steve's delicious breakfasts) will take you to the promenade and The Great Orme. Our thanks to Trish for the recommendation to visit Penrhyn Castle a superb day out. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Carmen for three nights at the end of March, was made to feel very welcome from the start. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was cooked to order by Steve and was most enjoyable. We would recommend it to anyone and would certainly return if we planned on another trip to Llandudno. I even got a card and present from our hosts on my birthday which was a nice touch. Thanks again.

Just got home after an overnighter in Llandudno. Our hosts Trish and Steve at the Carmen were helpful, amusing and informative and every aspect of the accommodation was spotless. Breakfast was served promptly and was both well presented and tasty. We look froward to returning again soon.

Room Tip: Situated at the edge of town but served by a regular and reliable bus service.
