This was my first stay in the Tynedale hotel after hearing so much about it from others who travel with Blakes Coaches Holidays from Tiverton Devon ( an excellent coach holiday firm who put their customers before all else.) We were on the landlubbers cruise- a mock cruise but on land for 5 days. The welcome on arrival made you feel special and valued as a customer. The food and customer service during our stay was excellent, in fact better than a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels i have stayed in during the years. All staff were happy, smiling, friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was a delight of hot and cold freshly prepared and cooked foods, i must admit to having become a fan of porririge topped with brown sugar, whiskey and cream since my stay!. Cooked breakfast was piping hot, their eggs had real orange egg yolks! Dinner was always a good selection of foods to suit all tastes and preferences, the grand gala buffett was a spectacular, you really have to see it to belive it. The hotel is decorated to an excellent modern contemporary standard, spacious with losts of seating areas througout. Bed rooms were very clean and fresh and decorated to the same standard as the rest of the hotel.
Already booked to stay again in November for Holly and Mistletoe. Llandudno has a very smart and clean sea front and lovley shops. Very Impressed for a sea side town in January!

Room Tip: Ask for sea front if possible

Another excellent stay with a group of disabled and elderley people which my husband organised and led. This family run hotel is warm and welcoming and because it is family run you get a personal and friendly response. Nothing is too much trouble. Accommodation first class thanks to Nathan's artistic wife who does all the interior design, food is excellent quality as they only use quality providers and not cheap alternatives, good entertainment. Many of our group say that it is the best hotel they have stayed in. My husband and I are looking forward to staying at the hotel on our own for the landlovers cruise, another unforgetable experience.
If the Tynedale was rated on Strictly it would be "Fab u lous"

Room Tip: Bay window front you pay a little more but worthwhile that is if you can get into the hotel as it always fully booked

Just returned from 3 day special break and although the weather was atrocious this hotel never fails to deliver a very enjoyable experience. The bedrooms are of good quality and well maintained. The food was as good as ever with ample choice,a photo attached of the Saturday buffet which indicates the standard of catering.
The Tynedale is very professionally run by Nathan and his enthusiastic staff at all levels, and also the entertainment (2 acts each evening on this break) was very well received.
Would recommend that prospective guests anticipate their reservation several months ahead to this reliable and very well situated hotel.

Room Tip: most guests would probably prefer front rooms with sea view in the summer.
