This is a really nice hotel, it is stylish, contemporary and immaculately clean. My mum and I booked on the last minute and had a twin room on the third floor. It was not the largest room, but it was pleasant and comfortable. Although we overlooked the car park we also had lovely views of Snowdonia. There is a lift to all floors and no steps at the entrance so it is a good choice for visitors with accessibility issues. Our room had a walk in shower (although some rooms have showers over the bath so it is best to check if that is important to you). The one small issue mentioned in a previous review is that there is nowhere to put your make up or toiletries in the bathroom, a shelf would be really useful.
The four course evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was fine. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was entertainment. The bar area is really nice, you are served complimentary tea and coffee there after your evening meal. It had lots of atmosphere and the other guests were very friendly (including Simon and Mrs Simon!). I think this is a hotel solo visitors would be comfortable in. There were many guests who are obviously regular visitors and I can understand why. It is in a good location on the sea front with easy access to the pier, prom and shops etc. There is free parking at the rear of the hotel. We felt very welcome on our arrival when we were given a voucher for complimentary tea and cakes. Overall good value and I would highly recommend .

Visited for one night, selecting it by chance on our arrival in Llandudno, and was not disappointed. The staff are excellent, the food is good, the rooms though small, are very well decorated, as is the whole hotel.

My wife and me visit his hotel every year for 2 nights, we escape from our kids for these 2 nights its our bit sanctuary :-)
Yet again the Tynedale did not disappoint, friendly staff, clean hotel, clean room, lovely food, and we met some nice people again, (penny and her mother being 2 of them)
We have already booked our 2 nights of sanctuary for next year,

Thank you once again the Tynedale, see you next year,

Simon and Christine

This was our 1st visit to the Tynedale and we wondered if it would be as good as we expected....we were not disappointed. The twin room was lovely and very clean,if I HAD to find a negative it would be that there was nowhere in the bathroom to kkeep our toilet bag but that is nitpicking. The staff were welcoming and smart, and the restaurant was run very efficiently under the watchful eye of Monika. The food was excellent and surpassed expectations, compliments to the chef and his team.
All in all this is a very well run hotel and we would definitely recommend it.

We stopped at the Tynedale hotel for one night and had a very good stay. Easy to park at back of hotel, nice welcome from reception staff and so very clean everywhere. Room overlooked car park and was a bit on the small side but fine for one night. It was very nicely decorated with what appeared to be good quality furniture, flat screen TV and again exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very good too.
We would definitely stay here again.

We booked only the day before direct with the hotel. First issue is that their website rates are per person per night...a quaint method of enticing the punter in ! On arrival found car park full but staff were helpful and cheerful in helping with this issue. Our room (as booked) was at the rear but had spectacular Snowdonia views. It was a windy day but the curtains were blowing in the breeze from the draughts! The room had all amenities, was clean and lovely beds - but VERY SMALL, One bed was against a wall. Only walking space for one in the room. The hotel is right on the front and near the town so well situated. Breakfast wonderful - especially the service of the polish (?) waitress. All the staff are helpful and courteous..
Overall a clean, well presented and situated establishment,,,but for £92/night/twin room we would expect no compromise. Would go again but larger room needed.

Room Tip: Rooms at rear have views as well. Room 38 at least is too small. Could be draughty in poor weather.
