I took my mother (82) here for a couple of days for a break. What a lovely place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming immediately that you instantly feel at home. There were several coach parties here for Turkey and Tinsel so we joined them for the evening entertainment. The entertainment was fabulous especially Morgan the welsh singer. We enjoyed the bingo also.

We booked for just b&b but stayed in for dinner one of the nights. This coincided with the Christmas Day of the coach trip which meant we had one of the best Turkey dinners I have ever tasted. The breakfast was also excellent, hot and lots of choice. The service was very quick and friendly and the atmosphere was very jolly.

Our room was absolutely spotless with tea and coffee making facilities.

When we booked out, I packed the car and we spent some time sitting in the lobby area just chatting and watching the world go by. I was actually reluctant to leave!!

Hi,we were going with friends who needed a disabled room, our friend is confined to her wheelchair and can only walk afew steps, but not up steps at all,I emailed the hotel and they where so helpful, even measured the height of the beds to make sure our friend could get on and off them.asked about highering loo, they had an appliance that could go over the loo,it wasnt in place when we arrived but it was only 5 min after telling them of this and the lad was upstairs fixing it.It is right on the front,it is an old building and in some places lookes it,but adds to its charm, creaky floorboards an all, VERY CLEAN and the main thing is that ALL THE STAFF where pleasant and happy,It is so hard to find this these days.We were on half board basis.Breakfast was one of the best we had ever had, hot, plentiful and choice, best poached eggs ever had.Main dinner choice had to be given at breakfast time from the daily menu,So meals cooked to order, plenty of choice again and more than enough of everthing.Entertainment at night was good,2 out of the 3 nights we stayed.Thoroughly recomend this hotel for anyone including disabled persons,It was spot on and we will be going again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st floor can be disturbed by entertainment in the ballroom, but it does finish at 11pm

We stayed at the Queens Hotel in Llandudno on Sep 28 and 29, 2012. The location was perfect, only a few steps away from the ocean. We were very pleased with the quality of the breakfast. We stayed in room 90, and this small room did leave a bit to be desired. Wallpaper was peeling from the ceiling and walls in the hallway, the room was so small that the door couldn't be opened all the way - it bumped into the bed. The toilet and shower were in such a small space that you had to sit sideways on the toilet. My shoulder touched the wall on one side and my other side touched the toilet tank while sitting on the throne. There was a bit of black mold in the grout lines on the shower wall. It is an old building with a lot of character, and to be fair, our son and his wife stayed in the room next to ours, and they didn't have the same complaints. There was no WiFi in the room, but we could get a strong signal in the lobby, which was a pleasantly decorated space with good light and comforable seating.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The comments about your room have been noted; as you will know the Queens is a traditional British Victorian seaside hotel, and, as such, each room is individually styled and decorated, and room sizes do vary.
Regarding the corridor near your room, we did suffer from a leak during the heavy rain which occured just prior to your stay! as soon as the wallpaper on the ceiling and wall had dried out it was of course repaired and redecorated.

Situated right in the centre of the promenade on the sea front, three minutes from town shopping centre & of things to do.

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Location is fantastic right on the waterfront. The price was very decent for a weekend stay. Breakfast had many options on top of the traditional English breakfast.
Room was a bit small but not unreasonable. Room was clean, bed was comfortable enough to get a decent nights sleep. Hotel was quiet and our room had an ocean view which was excellent.
Elevator was appreciated for getting luggage up to the 4th or 5th floor.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Huge lobby with big windows and plenty of couches and chairs to sit in and relax.
Wifi is only available in the lobby area.
We stayed at the hotel Alexandra a few doors down in a previous visit to llandudno and this hotel is far superior for only a bit more in price.
Would stay again
