“My folks fist stay in a big Hotel but not the last”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

My parents haven't travelled a lot & when they have it is self catering or one night in a small B&B.
But having stayed at the queens for 3 nights has i took them away for a break.
They are planning to go again later in the year. Room is basic but VERY CLEAN. Food is excellent & also the service. Nothing was to much bother . Thank you all

My friend & I shared a great w/e (Fri - Sun) at this hotel. We were part of a large group of party animals! The venue, accommodation, food, staff etc etc were great - the weather on the other hand was not so good! The wind blew so strong on Sunday morning you could hardly stand up outside - but it was February! We enjoyed it so much we've already put our names down to go February 2015

We stayed two nights and our room was basic but nice with a sea view, the staff are very helpful, quantity and quality of the food was very good. The only part of the weekend we did not enjoy was the evening entertainment a little old fashioned for us, but we went out and found a decent pub so not the end of the world. Would we stay again yes its ideal for a lazy weekend.

I needed to visit my elderly mother and decided to stay over, I had enjoyed a lovely lunch on several occasions in the past so booked the Queens at the last moment. The room was very well appointed and spotless, the service accommodating, friendly and efficient, the owners were clearly very present and making sure that everything went according to plan

This was the seventh year that our church has held its Family Weekend at the Queens. We were very well looked after by the staff who could not do enough for us. The food was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable and facilities first class. We had sole use of one of the ballrooms for the whole of the weekend for our activities. Our mixed age group of 47 people enjoyed the weekend and we will be back again next year and the year after.
