“Good Premier”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

We stayed two nights here. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Free parking, restaurants and shopping nearby. We were on a road trip and stayed in Premier Inns all around the UK with no complaints at all.

On arrival the hotel looked good we paid our money and purchased a dinner and breakfast package. The room which we paid £112.00 turned out to be for a person with a dis ability, located in the basement overlooking the car park smelling of disinfectant with a bathroom full of rails. We were informed it was the only room available , the next disappointment wasin the restaurant. we ordered meal at bar were advised rudely that meal package we had just purchased had changed after arguing with a very rude female employee the floor manager organised for us to get what we'd paid for. The meal when it came was mediocre. Breakfast the next morning was good staff so different hotel manager came and personally apologised for the previous evening however the whole experience was an expensive disappointment don't go there!!

Room Tip: Check Confirm type of room on booking as then not disappointed

If you are expecting American style customer service, forget it. This hotel was built by accountants, and is operated by accountants. There is no room for one extra cent (or penny) to be wasted on making the guests' life easier. The poor people benind the bar (where you go to place your dinner order and pay simultaneously - i.e. before you see your meal!) spend more time bashing the computer screen than they do serving drinks. Kudos to the ladies and gents at the front desk where there is a hint of friendliness towards the client. Room comfortable (but don't expect to be able to brew a second cup of coffee); food OK; value sucks.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

One of the best rooms we have had in a premier inn. Very very comfortable bed, lovely large room and a great view of the bay. The hotel is very clean and newly refurbished and I can't fault it. The guy behind the desk was called Paul and he was really helpful and polite and made us immediately feel relaxed and welcome.
The only downsides are the distance into town, the fact that the car park gets really busy and the evening meal in the restaurant (see seperate review of restaurant) which was quite poor. The breakfast however was delicious and perfect on both mornings. The hotel was lovely and quiet and the staff, including the cleaners were freindly.

We booked a 4 night stay for a family of 3. The hotel was very easy to find and had a large car park. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Our room was lovely and cool after a long drive. The beds were all very comfortable with a great view of the sea. We ate in the Brewers Fayre the first night but didn't make that mistake again as it was awful. The hotel is set in a quiet location but near enough to walk into Llandudno so great to leave the car and walk into town. The town has lots of nice shops and places to eat.
Opposite the hotel you can access the Little Orme which has lovely paths and walks with fabulous views out to sea we sat and watched the Seals swimming around!
I would highly recommend this hotel it is smaller and more personal than other Premier Inn hotels that I have stayed in previously with wonderful staff. I would happily return.

Back again - lovely location and a very good hotel - with a very good pub / restaurant attached. Family of 6 staying in two rooms for two nights (booked 3 but had to shorten due to other commitments). Rooms are very comfortable - you know what your are getting with a Premier Inn. Staff very friendly. Location is excellent. We will be back!
