“An enjoyable stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2013

We enjoyed our stay with Gloria the owner of Cornerways Guest house. We were greeted very well on our arrival, and shown the dining room and our bedroom. The dining room used for breakfast was light and clean with nice matching crockery and individual tables. Our on-suite bedroom again was spacious, very clean and well equipped with the most comfortable bed and sumptuous pillows. We slept well despite the hot weather. Our Welsh cooked breakfast was very enjoyable, along with a variety of cereals and fruit to start with, served by a very pleasant young lady. Gloria was on hand, checking that everyone was satisfied and offered extra helpings. The location was great with only a short flat walk to the promenade (Pier end) and shops and restaurants. My husband and I would not hesitate in returning to Cornerways when visiting Llandudno again, the atmosphere was very welcoming and homely.

We were shocked at the timing for breakfast we are not for laying in bed but 8,15 to 8.45 is a bit much we thought. The breakfast was okay ,nothing to rave about, both mornings Ifinished my cereal before my husband and both breakfasts were brought to the table before my husband was ready, not ideal We hardly spoke to the owners so cant comment on them, that said the guest house is clean and tidy but we wont be returning

My friend & I stayed at Cornerways for two nights (19th - 21st July 2013).
Upon our arrival we were greeted with the sight of an extremely well presented Guesthouse with beautifully tended gardens...as first impressions count, we were off to a great start!
Gloria & Steve were very welcoming and quite clearly dedicate themselves to ensuring that their guests are made to feel at home and have a first class stay (at an affordable price too)!
With no hesitation help was given to take our luggage to our room and immediately I felt relaxed & comfortable....straight away I could see that nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.
Our twin room had everything we needed and more....ample tea & coffee supplies (replenished daily) along with a spotlessly clean kettle were an instant hit after our long journey.
The cleanliness of the room and ensuite facilities could not be faulted in any way....spotless...even to my picky standards!!! I was very impressed with the supply of fresh fluffly towels and beds that were a pleasure to sleep in.
After a very good nights sleep we were treated to breakfast of the highest quality with Gloria keen to ensure that you get exactly what you want, using top quality ingredients and cooking them to perfection this set us up for the day quite nicely!
Cornerways is ideally situated in a very pretty and peaceful location yet allows very easy access to shops/pier/promenade by foot and with the added bonus of parking facilities we were able to enjoy our weekend without the stress of driving.
I can't leave my review without the mention of the how nice it was to be able to make use of the benches/seating supplied to enjoy a relax in the very pretty and peaceful garden.

A superbly clean guesthouse with perfect hosts & ample home from home comforts ensured us a truly enjoyable stay....thank you Gloria & Steve....truly appreciated x

Myself, wife and daughter stayed for three nights last week. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the view of the Great Orme was a bonus. Gloria and Steve were fantastic hosts and an excellent breakfast set us up for the day. We had lovely weather and coupled with wonderful accommodation, our break was just brilliant. Would definitely return.

Stayed at Cornerways 10th to the 15th July
Gloria and Stephen are very nice, friendly and welcoming hosts, and nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed in room 5 on the 3rd floor for 2 nights, a twin bedded room with the washbasin in the room and toilet and bath en-suite. A bath with shower arrangement from the taps, unfortunately no shower screen so care needed when showering, elderly guests may struggle with this, but we managed fine. Next 3 nights in room 2 on the second floor a nice large room with modern en-suite, stepping into the bath to shower may be a problem for some elderly guests however.
A lovely welcoming home with a nice dining room, guest lounge, and a lovely garden to sit in, it felt like being at home. Would we stay here again--definitely, thank you very much Gloria and Stephen.

Thank you for your positive comments in your review on Cornerways. However to avoid confusion may I point out that Cornerways does not have a 3rd floor. The bedrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors. I am pleased you both enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you both again.
