We enjoyed our stay at Cornerways, made very welcome. A good quiet location (apart from the seagulls!!!!) with parking and an easy walk to the prom. The room was very clean and the beds really comfortable.

We had a great 4 day stay. Area and town were great and the b&b had great rooms for a fair price combined with a friendly service and a great (and flexible) breakfast. In a 5 minute walking distance to the shore and good car parking places.

Gloria was very friendly and welcomed the three of us. The property was clean but a bit dated. Rooms are adequately sized. The twin room (top floor) single beds were a bit of the small side but adequate. Bathroom was a bit dated too and getting the hot water right was a bit challenging. Breakfast was good and the locally sourced sausage, bacon and eggs were very good indeed. Overall, it was a good but not particularly memorable experience.

Two of us stayed for three nights B&B to play Conwy, Maesdu and N.Wales GC. Cornerways is located in a peaceful, high class area, within a few blocks of the Prom. Good on-street parking. The Lady Gloria was most welcoming, and her breakfasts are top quality. We had early tee times for a couple of the Open Comps. One was at 8.50 am, which meant leaving the house at 8 o'clock. Gloria cooked us a full English (although there are enough cereals and fruit to come out of your ears). The other was at 8.10 am, leaving the house at half-seven. Gloria wrapped bacon and sausage toasties in foil-to-go. Great bedroom kettle and fully stocked 'tray' with biccies (replenished daily). A bath to soak in with supplied muscle soak for my ageing golfer's joints, and a wall telly to doze off to. If I need to stay in North Wales again I shan't bother searching, I'll head straight for Gloria's!

We chose this guest house purely by accident, and what a fantasic accident! The owner, Gloria, is a wonderful host, and her lovely spirit and attention to detail shows in abundance. The room we stayed in (Room 7) was a suite, with a small lounge area with TV and chairs for 2, verycosy and comfy. The room and en suite itself was very clean and tidy, with all the shampoos etc in the en suite that you may need. The bed was super comfy, and the linen etc fresh and crisp. There was a large wardrobe and chest of drawers which was more than enoughto accomodate out clothes for the long weekend.

The area where the guest house is situated is about 5 mins walk away from the front, close enough to be handy, but far enough to be very peaceful and quiet. Limited parking was also available on the drive, with plenty of unregulated street parking if you were unlucky enough not to get a spot.

I have only high praise for this guest house, with its lovely rooms, gracious hosts (Can't forget hardworking young Amy), hearty breakfasts, and overall feeling of being welcome.

I have never been to establishments that were perfect, and for the money paid, this has got to be the closest yet! It is an adult guest house, with no children allowed, which is a shame for all the parents out there, but then again, if you can get a child free weekend like we did, this is the place to go.

Gloria......thank you so much for a wonderful stay, and we will certainly see you again.

Paul and Tracy in Runcorn

Room Tip: Room on the top floor is a small suite with a stunning view of the Orme

I have stayed here many times and i can't rate it highly enough. Always a lovely warm welcome, super-clean rooms with tea trays replenished daily, toiletries and the softest towels ever! Nothing is too much trouble and the unbelievably tasty cooked breakfasts are made to order by Gloria herself, using top quality ingredients..also available is toast with jam/marmalade/honey..anything your hearts desire actually!!., cereals, fresh fruits, juices, yogurts, tea and coffee.. you certainly won't go hungry here! 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and the shops/promenade. Lots to do and see before going back to Cornerways to the lovely comfy beds, flat screen tv.. can't beat it ! It's a real home from home you won't be disappointed. :)

Room Tip: Every room is impeccably clean and well equipped so whichever room you had, you would be pleased.. m...
