“Very welcoming lovely b&b”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2013

Really lovely lady Sue met us at the door and showed us the room. She was genuinely interested in our stay, where we were having dinner etc. she took us to and pointed out all we needed to know about the room which was lovely, newly decorated and very clean. All the usual freebies for drinks and in the bathroom, but lots of them and extras like hot chocolate and marshmallows, chocs and sweets etc. room was small but really comfy, we loved it and had a great nights sleep. Got a really friendly reception for breakfast, lots of coffee and a fab selection of self service stuff before a huge and really tasty cooked breakfast. You could pick and choose and wow what a lot of bacon! Really lovely welcoming and friendly environment for anyone that loves to feel at home and comfortable.

Room Tip: I don't think it matters!

Such a shame this lovely B&B has just got its first bad review, especially as the reviewer hadn’t even bothered to stay here!! I stayed at the Beach House a few weeks ago and found it to be an excellent standard, in a great location, with very friendly and helpful owners.

When we arrived we were shown where we could park our car at the back of the accommodation and then were helped with our luggage up to our room (can't remember the room number but it was on the 2nd floor at the front). The room was a reasonable size for this type of accommodation and was en-suite with a shower, bath, sink and toilet. The room was well decorated and most importantly, clean. Towels were supplied along with little extras such as shampoo, shower gel, soap, mints and chocolates, which was a nice touch and something you might not expect in this type of accommodation.

Although when we stayed the weather was very hot, the room was a reasonable temperature and a good nights sleep was had. In the morning the breakfast was excellent, lots of cereals, fruit and juice to choose from and a fantastic full Welsh breakfast and toast cooked to order.

I would definitely recommend The Beach House as an excellent standard of B&B accommodation and would be more than happy to stay here again.

We have just returned from The Beach House after a lovely stay with friends. This guest house is ideally situated for the beach and the town and also opposite a nice pub. The rooms were clean and comfortable and newly decorated and had nice little extras you would not expect at this price level. Breakfast was superb and kept one going all day so thanks to Sue and team for a lovely few days

My husband, myself and 7 yr ,daughter came back last night from this hotel. We really enjoyed it (2 nights) and the room was great. It was nicely decorated, very clean and view was brilliant, lots of little extras in rm, water, mints, cotton wool/buds,good selection of drinks and plenty of milk which you don't normally get. It was across from 2 nice decent pubs(not rowdy) if you wanted a drink. Also some decent places to eat nearby and the tram for the orme just up the road. We were on the front overlooking the sea to the left and slept very well as bed comfy and quiet outside. The staff were very friendly and always around to help. We will be going back, that's for sure ! The breakfast was amazing and fills you until evening. Well done Sue and team !

Room Tip: We had room 1 with a great sea view.

Not really sure what standard of accommodation other people expect, but considering this Hotel gets 100% on tripadvisor I was extremely disappointed. I booked this B&B at the last minute for my parents for 2 nights based on all the positive reviews. They came back explaining it needed a good decorate with wallpaper pealing off the walls and was very sparse and old fashioned. The unused bar in the dingy breakfast room was covered in old paint cans. Their room (Room 4) at the back of the Hotel overlooked rubble and a broken glass. The bedroom doors were not fire regulation doors. There was no fan in the bathroom to either remove condensation or odours. Although the accommodation was a let down, the location was ideal and the hosts and staff were very friendly. You can actually get a much better standard of Hotels in Llandudno for roughly the same price.

Room Tip: Not room 4

Booked a room on Tuesday night and stayed Thursday night. Received a warm welcome on arrival and the kind offer of help with all our luggage etc. Room was small but was fine for a couple of nights stay. It was nicely decorated, very clean and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend the hotel and the staff made it very enjoyable for us too. Would also recommend the Italian restaurant, La Taverna, just 2 doors away. The place is very busy so advisable to book a table in advance. Prices are reasonable and food is tasty.

They say never judge a book by its' cover and I'm glad we didn't I'm this case. What a totally charming place to stay while vacationing in this resort town.
The room was as clean and comfortable as the nicest 4 star hotels in the states and the breakfast was better than any B&B we've ever visited.
The people here can't do enough for you and breakfast was far better than most and more than anyone can eat.
A great place at a great rate.
