There's a few different eating places on the street but we was recommended this place and we wasnt disappointed. We turned up about 6.30 hadn't booked but they fit us in along with another two couples then that was it the place was booked up for the night ! I was gobsmacked when the staff turned customers away and felt lucky we went when we did. Attentive service..good selection of drinks..good menu and specials of the day. We had a fruit cider each a bangers and mash main and a roast beef Yorkshire pudding main which came plentiful with veg seperate and offered extra gravy etc if we needed it. Very very nice indeed and we both agreed it was a good meal. The cost was 26 which was very reasonable. As we left there was customers queing down the path waiting to eat !! So if your in town during the day I advise to pop in and book a table to save disappointment
