Had a one night stay with some friends at Arvon House as we were going to the local theatre. All the rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfy. We were made to feel very welcome indeed. Tea and coffee facilities available in room. The breakfast was piping hot and delicious. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Adele and family.

This is a really lovel;y B and B with really nice rooms and comfy beds and helpful and friendly staff We had a lovely breakfast and the staff were helpful about forgotten chargers etc. We missed breakfast (due to forgetting to put our watches forward into BST!) but we were fed tea and toast anyway and everyone was lovely

throughly recommended

We had the pleasure in stopping at the Arvon House B and B on a recent trip to Llandudno

Great location, a five minute walk to the sea front as a good choice of pubs and restaurants

Perfect hosts, a clean B and B and a great breakfast and very good value for money.

We will return

Adele and her family were very friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Large clean room, quite location but close to all amenities. Well looked after with traditional full English breakfast. Easy on street parking. Would definitely stay here again.

You'll get excellent service at this small guest house. The breakfast is very good with fruit -fresh and tinned - cereals, yoghurts and very freshly made, well heaped cooked options. Service here is unobtrusive but highly efficient and genuinely friendly. Rooms are a decent size with flat screen tv and free view with good views out over Great Orme and distant views of the Carneddau. There are electric heaters in rooms which are yours to control. The bathrooms are small but fine, with electric showers. There's a pleasant guest lounge with books and games and a small help-yourself bar at very reasonable prices. You can have access at any time with outer door keys provided and no hassle at all. The whole is scrupulously clean and well maintained.

Location is a pleasant 5 minute walk from the sea, pier head, shops, bus stops and Weatherspoons. Give this a try. Once the Palladium Theatre, it's been revamped fairly sympathetically and is a rightly popular eating and drinking hole. No, I haven't got shares!

Llandudno retains it's essential character and is a star of the rapidly disappearing constellation of traditional seaside towns. It has a great variety of attractions for all ages and a spectacular location between the Ormes and on Snowdonia's doorstep. Views from either Orme on a half decent day are breathtaking. If retail is your thing this is the place for you too.

All that praise and to end on a glum. The off shore wind farm, now well on its way to completion, is more than an eyesore. It seriously dilutes the old sea magic. For me at least. And produces by far the most expensive energy we generate. But that's a hobbyhorse for another day......
