“Enjoyable weekend”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2013

We booked three nights in this hotel solely on the recommendations featured on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed despite the weather doing it's level best to spoil out visit. The hotel is adult only and has twelve rooms. We were allocated Room 9 on the third floor and this afforded us a panoramic view across Llandudno Bay with Little Orme in the distance. We could not fault this hotel, it was friendly, spotless and breakfast was of good quality. We would have no qualms revisiting in the future.

Nice hotel, spotlessly clean and very quiet, near to all amenities. The down side was there are quite a few steps to climb and although that was not a problem for me it could be for some people, the other down side was i found the hotel to be a bit chilly especially at night , but overall good value.

We enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the public areas - the bar, lounge and terrace all with wonderful views of the promenade and Victorian grandeur. The location is great for access to the Town, Pier and Great Orme. We were treated with courtesy and helpfulness. The breakfast was varied with plenty of fruit and nice service. Parking may be a problem at busy times and something to be prepared for, but compensated for by the location. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, just a few minor things like a noisy extractor fan which if corrected would make it perfect. Hope to visit again.

Room Tip: The rooms at the rear are probably quieter, and less expensive. There are plenty of public rooms and...

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The welcome is warm and friendly and bookings are handled efficiently. The breakfasts are excellent and there is lots of choice. The common areas are again very comfortable and the view from the hotel is lovely and there is a terrace from which you can enjoy the view on good days. The terrace is made attractive by pots of flowering plants and edged by very sweet smelling roses. It is a lovely place to sit and enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea and you are often joined by Crimbo the dog who is a delight and very well trained. I really enjoyed my break and I will be returning in the spring.

My husband and I are just back from what was in effect our honeymoon spent at the Bryn-Y-Mor hotel and we could not have been made more welcome. Before we arrived I worried that they might not like a gay couple spending their honeymoon in the hotel and so made it clear to the owner, Rhona, what our situation was and she made us feel very welcome over the phone.

Upon our arrival we were taken to the room with the four-poster bed, which looks out over the bay and were given a large bottle of sparkling wine and two glasses in our room - how lovely and welcoming!

Rhona and her staff looked after everything and made our stay very memorable indeed. We both fell in love with Crimbo the dog - possibly the best trained dog I have ever known!

The room (No1) was spotless and the supplies kept stocked up - we don't believe in using towels once then chucking them on the floor so cannot say how often the towels would be changed but they clearly respond quickly to requests when made.

Breakfast was lovely, a choice of cereals and also a cooked breakfast from which you could choose the items you liked. My only criticism of the entire hotel lies here and that I think the skinless sausages they use aren't as nice as they could be. That said I ate mine so they can't be that bad!

All in all staying at Bryn-Y-Mor was a totally pleasant experience - parking is no problem if you arrive after about 5pm. We parked in a side street to unload and then moved down to the hotel after 5pm and parked directly outside, not moving till it was time to go (parking is £3.50 all day - bargain!)

Stay here and let Rhona, Crimbo and their team look after you - just let them know what you need in advance.

We stayed at Bryn-Y-Mor over the Aug bank holiday, the Hotel is placed perfectly close to all amenities. Our room was quite small with the sink unit in the room (not in the en-suite) the shower door was not sealed properly and so leaked when we had a shower however we were told about this on arrival. Our view was of a Stone wall and nothing else. The room itself was pristine, not a speck of dust in sight. It was light and airy with lots of mirrors. The TV was smaller than i expected but it worked and did the job. Breakfast was perfect, the coffee was lovely and the full English was scrummy. Me and my fiancé go to Llandudno every year and try to stay somewhere different every time, We have stayed in better B&Bs and we have stayed in worse.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room.

We have just returned from a weekend in Llandudno, and we stayed at BRYN-Y-MOR HOTEL on North Parade. We were warmly welcomed by the proprietor and her lovely dog, Crimbo. The hotel is perfectly placed for all the best restaurants and pubs in the area, and the famous Llandudno Pier is just across the road. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a beautiful patio area surrounded by lovely yellow roses. The view of Llandudno bay is quite spactacular from here. The breakfast is delicious, perfectly cooked and her fried bread must be the best in the world. I really recommend a stay here.
