We stayed one night in a most attractive cottage in the grounds of the hotel. It was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly want. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the public rooms in the hotel were delightful too. We have stayed before and would certainly come again. We were only sorry that we could not stay longer on this occasion.

Room Tip: Can recommend a cottage; particularly useful if you have a dog.

Excellent gluten free tea, much better than I expected. A dry walk, after the hurricane! in the "Perfect for Pollinators" garden with bee hives, & woodland -such an important habitat. Pleasant helpful staff. All delightful.

Room Tip: Overlooking the really beautiful gardens

Stayed for a belated birthday treat and absolutely loved this national trust, historic house hotel. The hotel is a unique, historic house with the comforts of a five star, traditional hotel. We loved it because it is small, quiet and "boutique" with wonderful, individuals who offer caring and attentive service in the most natural way. We dined on both evenings, once in the bistro and the other evening in the 3 Rosette, fine dining restaurant. The food in both cases was excellent. The spa is also lovely, located just a few steps away from the main house and offering a wide range of treatments. I enjoyed a Decleor facial and would highly recommend taking the time out to enjoy a treatment.

Room Tip: Lady Augusta's Suite - amazing views and lovely space to relax in private

We booked in to this Hotel at the recommendation of our travel agent.
We were initially given an average room overlooking the rear car park however the bed mattress was faulty however when this issue was raised to the Hotel Manager we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the garden and through a panoramic view to the distant bridge.
The restaurant is beautiful with well trained staff and pleasant meals with a large range of wines to suit meals.
Our second night we had a meal at the bistro which also had a range of good meals available and the same high quality food.
The only issue is that the advertised WiFi is hit and miss (more miss than hit) with an inability to remain connected for longer than 10mins with extremely poor coverage
The Hotel also needs to provide better pillows at the pillows provided collapse and are more akin to towels with no support at all.
All up this was a very good experience and we would stay again at this Hotel although found Llandudno quite disappointing overall

Room Tip: Room overlooking the garden, try suite 8
