Entrance when arrived- Used fags in flower pots & the smell! as it was right outside the main entrance it was un-avoildable. Not really a warm welcoming when entering the hotel. & around about 10 parking spaces around the back of hotel, so was lucky to get a space. The room it's self was awful, the carpet felt dirty, the telephone to reception was on top of the cupboard coverd in dust. The bathroom door didn't close, there were no plug sockets accesable due to furniture put infront of them! Everytime i flushed the toilet it sounded like a trumpet for 2-3 minutes. & the person upstairs flushed their toilet in the night and woke me up! twice! & the light in the bathroom was leaking water from upstairs so was re located to a different room & the toilet in there didn't flush & again i could smell ciggarete smoke. The one day my room wasn't even serviced when i'd asked for it.

The food & kitchen staff were amazing & very polite, the rooms let the hotel down. The swimming pool was ok, didn't use changing rooms as didn't look like they had been cleaned. Entertaintment was fab! Great location for town. Lovely parrots in reception too. A real shame about the rooms/ pool area. Could be a real fab hotel with more TLC.

Room Tip: Higher the floor the more sleep you'll get.

I,m sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. However your review is misleading to say the least. You mention that you were moved because the light fitting in your room was leaking water, but you fail to mention that it was indeed a member of your coach party that flooded the room above causing damage running in to hundreds of pounds. While i understand that this is not your concern but it would be nice if you pointed out the fact that the leak was an accident that occurred while you were staying with us instead of making it sound like we have water pouring through the roof !
Your distaste with the plant pots filled with fag ends is duly noted, but i would like to point out that they are in fact filled with sand and placed there for the people who smoke that are forced to stand out in the wind and rain to enjoy their ciggs, and short of issuing them with bells around their necks and unclean signs there is not much that can be done about it.
You go on to comment about the noise your toilet made, this is because its an electric toilet and they do make a small noise when they are flushed this is unavoidable! What a shame you choose not to mention any of your problems other than the leak from the room above while you were staying at the hotel. Had you taken this approach you may have enjoyed your stay with us like the rest of the people who have posted their reviews from your tour below.
regards

We went to Llandudno with Leisuretime ,a 4 day trip. this hotel was realy good, entertainment every night (which was very good),and also a nice lounge with a well stocked bar. The food was very good and the staff were all very nice and helpfull. just a couple of mins from the sea front. we will defenatly return to the ristbro next time in Llandudno.

Room Tip: as far as we know all the rooms are good( you dont go on holidays to stay in your room)

We booked the trip with leasuretime because of the trip up snowdon, we had never visited the risboro hotel before so i decided to read trip advisor and found that 99.9% of the reviews were correct!! very good hotel enjoyed the stay (all i can say to the negative reviews if you book the hilton you pay the hilton prices? you dont pay the risboro prices and still think you can get the hilton standards) you get what you pay for in the risboro and it is very good, yes if i was going to llandudno again i would book the risboro and i shall tell my friends to book their if they are up that way. idwal and gill clements

Room Tip: room 55 but this is a family room

A party of 8 have just returned from a weekend at The Risboro Hotel. We had a wonderful time, staff were so polite and helpful, the rooms were kept lovely and clean, and the swimming pool was to die for. The food was very good quality and cooked to perfection. This hotel is just up the road from the promenade, excellent location. Well Done Risboro.

i agree with some reviews about the smokers on the front steps, but it did not put me off what really annoyed me was the private party in the ballroom on the Saturday evening and the poor girl trying to entertain the hotel guest in the dining room and having to keep turning up her sound system up so we could hear her and not the disco going on below, we gave it up and went for a walk round Llandudno got back and went to bed only to be kept awake by the private party but up to Sat dinner(evening) we were having a good time, Mark you really should not have private parties when you have a hotel full of paying guests, as for the meals and rooms they were ok for the money we paid though Uk Breakaways we were there August 17/19 2012 would go again i think ?
