We stayed at this hotel on the 4th and 5th July- it is fantastic, the staff are so friendly! Value for money, breakfast and evening meal included in the cost- food was lovely. We have been to Llandudno a few times now and wouldn't normally book an evening meal so it was a nice surprise!

Five day break would have been great, but our room was a real downer, one inch gap in the window which we had to stuff with loo paper to stop the draught, reported it twice ,no response, pillows were so thin ,might as well not had them, bathroom needs a good overall, worse of all was the noise from the next room 33 which I was told was a member of the staff ,shouting running through the corridor banging doors for a good few hours in the middle of the night,on the good side food first class ,staff great except the one in the next room to us, entertainment was the best I have seen in a hotel

Room Tip: 34 was a let down

We stayed at the Risboro Hotel with Leisuretime of Cardiff. The hotel was near the shops and sea front, ideally placed for the resort. The dining and entertainment staff were wonderful. Our waiter ,Remick (hope I spelt it correct) was excellent he was very efficient and polite .The food was good and hot.A few more potatoes or chips would have been appreciated. The public areas were good but unfortunately the rooms needed a lot of TLC.The bedding and towels were clean.I heard a number of complaints made about their rooms and unfortunately our bathroom was not of a good standard, our plastic bath panel was cracked and exposed sharp edges.I reported to reception and after a number of reminders and different excuses given I attended a local store and covered the offending areas with tape. Our towels were presented like swans, very nice but I feel the time taken would have been better used in the bathroom. The urgent TLC needed took the edge off the hotel rooms.I hope they improve their image.A lot of unnecessary noise in the early hours.

Room Tip: Our room number was 31,it faced out the rear of the hotel,no view other than a car park with what ap...

I recently stayed there the food was good and the staff very helpfull but the cleanelyness of the shower especially the tray and the out side if the tray needed steam cleaning as it was black and a spon was left for 3 days on the tray which we had used the pool was unbelievable with tiles loose paper and rubbish in so called lockers a joke the changing rooms were disgusting and desperrately need refurbishing the paont work was scuffed and on some walls needed seeing to if you have an allergy to birds dont go there as they have parrots in reception if only they paid more attension to detail especially in the bathrooms and sort out the pool area it would be a pleasure to stay there

Room Tip: go for the first floor

Had a good time at this hotel--Friday to Sunday.Breakfasts were good & two evening meals also included in the deal were ok.The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. The swimming pool, although a bit rundown.was good but the changing rooms were rundown and in need of refurbing. We had a fantastic night of singing and comedy in the ballroom, in the basement, with the owner "Crystal Balls" doing a fabulous " risque" drag act.He was very professional and extremely funny.---All in all a good weekend and good value for the money. The on street parking wasn't too bad and the rear carpark ,which is quite small, seemed to be full all the time.---It is only a short 5 minute walk to Llandudno Pier and the town.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front, where we were, were good, although the seagulls squawking in the morning were a n...

The Gardens of Bodnant and the Castles of Conwy, Penrhyn, Canaerfon and Beaumaris are all close by as are the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and the Great Little Trains of Wales Llandudno boasts two beaches—the North shore with its elegant crescent of hotels and Victorian pier, and the wilder west shore, famous for inspiring Lewis Carroll to write Alice in Wonderland, with its sand dunes and fabulous views towards the mountains, the Menai Straits and the medieval walled town of Conwy. The Risboro sits between the two beaches at the foot of the Orm—a stone’s throw from the tram station for the summit of the Orm and at the western end of the vibrant town centre. with its wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants.
