Lovely hotel right on the promenade.Great welcome right from the start, luggage carried to your room.We had a balcony room over looking the bay lovely and clean with plenty of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits replenished every day, also still or sparkling water. beds are comfortable with duvets. Bathroom lovely with big towels and toiletries. Breakfast lovely with plenty of choice.
We indulged in afternoon tea and it was the best i'd had anywhere. We stay here at least twice a year wouldn't stay anywhere else carn't wait for our next stay.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front on the 1st floor have balconies. The hotel also has its own car park at the rear o...

A lovely hotel right on the promenade. Decor is modern. My room had a view of the cable cars and the sea front/pier. Rooms are cleaned each day and the breakfast had plenty of choice! Staff were friendly and helpful - lady on reception rang and booked a taxi for me when I asked her for a taxi firms telephone number. Couldn't find anything to grumble about! Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

We have stayed at St Georges hotel a few times now. The first time was for the Queens Jubilee which was a wonderful experience and has bought us back to enjoy this hotel. This occasion was for work and moms birthday.

Checking in is easy and welcoming. Bedrooms are cosy are relaxing. Mattress was too soft for us and we should have said something during the stay but were enjoying being out in Llandudno so this was put on a back burner. We ate at the hotel and the presentation of meals was excellent. Waiters are really polite and let us know when there might be a delay, which was appreciated. Wedgewood room is decorated beautifully, where breakfast is well organised and staff try to accommodate all our requests in a busy breakfast setting. It was nice to have a little banter with a variety of staff, they provided us with their knowledge of the area and the latest footie scores, the men in our group were happy with that.

There is a car park at the front and back of the hotel, street parking after 4pm is free.

It was a pleasure to return to the hotel in the evenings, it is peaceful, you feel safe and there is the joy of being so close to the beach that you can have a wander down there before retiring for the night.

Checking out is hassle free and staff remain interested in how we enjoyed the hotel experience. We appreciate how well managed the hotel is and that staff have continued to work there over the years.

Next time we stay we will opt for a king size bed with a firm mattress.

Room Tip: We had side rooms which provide a partial sea view, lovely sunny view of the Great Orme. Although r...

Wouldn't waste your money - overpriced, unfriendly staff, unhelpful and unwelcoming. Pokey rooms, no parking available (your lucky if you get one of there whole 5 spaces!!) terrible 'view' ...Could go through every incident (there were several shocking ones) but after a week spent trying to get my deposited money back from them and trying to get decent answers - to get a response from a manager who doesn't like to admit when they are in the wrong and refuses to compensate horrendous service - I've lost all interest in speaking about them. Go to a b&b instead. I know the hotel manager will have an answer for everything like he does on every negative post on here - but unfortunately they can talk the talk but not walk the walk and people with any standards will see that. Worst hotel I've ever ever stayed in.

You have placed your review and I always do genuinely regret when guests have stayed at St George's and leave with such impressions on our service.
For readers of this review I can only ask them to judge our team from the wealth of guests comments which express how friendly and efficient our team are.
As for the money matter, it has been proven that it was not a hotel issue, but your bank, and as for the parking, we have 32 spaces not 5.
Though knowing you would not wish to return to St George's is regrettable, though if you do reconsider please contact me directly so I may assist in the arrangements and demonstrate the best of St George's.

We stayed at St George's Hotel for the one night of our visit to the theatre. We were happy with every aspect of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and eager to please, the service wonderful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, hot and plentiful. The public areas were well appointed, especially the dining room and the sun room area at the front of the hotel. The car park could be a bit congested. The hotel is a pleasant walk away from the theatre. We will definately be staying at the St George's Hotel for our next visit to the theatre.

Room Tip: A twin room was important to us and we were well satisfied with room 203.

A lovely review and thank you for highlighting our team, who provide the 'wonderful service.'
We are finding our theatre breaks more and more popular and the programme by Venue Cymru offers a wonderful choice through the year.
So we hope we shall be welcoming you back soon, for an 'encore' and thank you once again for taking the time to leave such kind words, as it is so appreciated.

This hotel lives up to its 4 star rating, perhaps 4.5 would be nearer the mark.
The position of the hotel is directly on the front, yet with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Llandudno town centre.
The rooms were clean and well appointed, the staff very helpful and a car park is available at the rear. During working hours it can get a bit full, probably locals taking advantage of such a convenient site.
The restaurant had wonderful views over the bay, matched by the food at dinner. Breakfast was a real blow out -- you feel the affect all day.
I hate to have to criticise a couple of aspects in the room. There were only two small draws in the bedside tables, adequate for a business man saying one night but not adequate for a wife on a 4 day stay. By the look of the imprint in the carpet it looked as if something had been taken away, maybe the draws to be replaced there was adequate space for a set.
The other niggle was in the immaculate bathroom. There was a shaving mirror that angled and a good mirror, there ws though only 3 small ceiling lights one of which was directly over the person shaving, making it difficult to see under your chin. Too late now to alter it but maybe a thought for any future revamps.

Thank you for your detailed comments and we are so pleased you have enjoyed the stay.
Just to make it clear we have a guest permit scheme and manage our parking to stop locals having free parking so allowing the maximum spaces for our guests.
As for drawers we can, when requested provide additional drawers, this is included in the guest information.
Finally can we just thank you for your kind comments and are pleased to know how much you enjoyed your stay and only hope it won't be too long before we are looking after you once again at St George's.
Thank you and Best Wishes

I visited Llandudno on a business trip and stayed for 2 nights at the St George's Hotel. It is a good hotel with helpful staff. I had a minor problem in my room as I was not getting hot water, the hotel staff promptly took me to a vacant room where I used the bathroom and they had repaired the fault in my room the same day.
The restaurant at the ground floor is a beautiful place to have your dinner overlooking the sea.
One other thing, usually beds in all hotels are more or less same but I found the bed in this hotel very comfortable and I had a very good sleep. Few of my other colleagues also shared the same view.
I would love to go back to this place.

Room Tip: Book rooms on the front so that you get the sea view

So pleased to read how much you enjoyed your stay. We do note and regret the slight problem with the water but pleased we were able to rectify it the same day.
As for comfortable beds what could be more important for hotels to offer their guests and so pleased you and your colleagues enjoyed their stay.
We hope we shall be welcoming you soon back to St George's.
