From the moment we arrived, the staff of St George, Llandudno made us all feel at home. The high standard of decor and service we all received was second to none.
We stayed 2 nights bed breakfast and evening meal with a Gala Dinner Dance on the Saturday and out of 67 people who where in our group, not one person had anything to complain about...only fantastic comments.
The hotel is ideal for shopping or sight seeing or just relaxing in the newly refurbished rooms.
The professionalism of all the staff from the porter, receptionists to the Events and Reservation Co-ordinators was exceptional.
The choice and quality of the dinners and breakfasts was a credit to the chef and his staff.
The only complaint I had was that the weekend was over too quickly.

Booked the hotel for a weekend break with three sisters and my mother who is disabled.
We where told at time of booking that the outside ramp would be out of action due to re-furb. The minute we arrived at the hotel we where offered help in parking the car, help to get my Mum into the hotel and was met by a very professional desk receptionist.
The rooms are contemporary and well serviced, the food is excellent and all staff where helpful and polite. I have stayed at other 4* in Llandudno but certainally won't look to book anywhere else after staying here. If I could award a 5* to this hotel I would.

Thank you for taking the time to review.
Regarding the ramp access this is now completed which is a quality entrance for all guests but especially those with mobility issues and a great asset for the hotel and guests alike.
We very much appreciate your kind comments regarding the quality service and professionalism of the team and even more pleased to read we will be welcoming you back soon.

We combined an organised tour which was based at the hotel (Great Rail Journeys - Castles & Railways of Wales), with 3 nights' stay as independent travellers, so we actually moved rooms twice. We started on the 2nd floor, moved to the 4th floor and spent our final night in a balcony room with sea views. (Nice, but not worth the extra money, as it was by far the smallest room!) Breakfasts are first class. Buffet style, with hot food usually served by staff (to avoid greediness I think). Bacon and sausages top quality and not at all greasy. Lots of fruit, yoghurts, pastries and so on. We only had dinner as part of our holiday arrangements and it was fine.

Llandudno itself is a delightful town with many preserved Victorian buildings and a gorgeous promenade. Lots of restaurants and a few good pubs (The Seahorse is an excellent seafood restaurant in Church Walk and The Albert is a great local pub with very good pub grub).

We would definitely go back to St George's Hotel. The only major drawback is the lack of parking for all the major hotels along the seafront and you do need to be aware of this. We had to park in the town, then find a space on the seafront £1.50 a day, but you must feed the machine before 10a.m. One guest was about to be booked by the many traffic wardens at 10.01! Eventually the helpful staff found us a space in the very small hotel car park and that's where the car stayed for the duration of our holiday!

We arrived at this hotel and had a great time. Hotel reception staff were very friendly and effiecient. The room had a great sea view although the window was a little small but appropriate to the Victorian building. Rooms were spotlesly clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and water. We ate at the hotel on the first night and had a excellent high quality three course meal. (set price) There was a great choice of food for breakfast and again service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed stay and will return to this hotel.
Only slight issue was parking during the day as carpark at the back was rather small, plenty of street parking at night but not during the day.

This place was great. We spent 3 days here and the front desk staff was very attentive. Great rooms with breakfast included, no noise, went to Conevern Castle, and took the ski lift up the hill to the County Park.
