“Good Value and Interesting”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

We really enjoyed this. The owner turned a childhood interest and collection into a museum and his job. Really well done, an enjoyable hour or so was spent on a wet morning.

“Little museum full of nostalgia for us”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

Wonderful collection. Very good labelling for both adults and children. Despite remembering ration books and information films we learnt a lot. The curator was very pleasant' He has done a good job.

“great 40s time machine”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

Please take the time to pay attention to small details a lot of time and effort gone in here. Reminds me of a scaled down version of Eden camp. Was very impressed to find out this is one man's private collection truly awesome. Great effort all round well worth the small entrance fee

“memories”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

not only interesting but nostalgic, there was something familiar on every display, i found myself saying "i remember those" or "dad had one of those" not having lived through the war (1953 baby!) it was amazing to sit in the air raid shelter listening to the sounds of it

“One man's enthusiasm”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

An excellent display of one (young) man's collection of WW2 memorabilia. Some interesting CoI film clips on food.
