“Top class restaurant”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

Have been three times this year to this restaurant and each time have not been disappointed, the atmosphere is lovely and cosy, the food is of high class and you get what you pay for which I like. Just couldn't fault this place, the service that the staff provide is excellent especially Mandy she is lovely. Will not be long before I will be returning. TOP CLASS RESTAURANT IN EVERY WAY

“Not as good as it is made out to be”
Reviewed 23 March 2012

Very busy, very loud, very crowded. Choice of food not great for those on special diets. Portions very small with very little in the way of vegetables. Had sea bass and it was well overcooked with a tiny amount of fennel and spinach underneath and three small new potatoes. That was it!!! Overpriced by a long way. There are places around where you can get better quality food at a fraction of the price.

Staff were not that helpful and you felt that they were watching you to hurry you up to leave as soon as possible to get someone else sat down. Out just to make money. Will not visit again in a hurry

“Nice place - but very expensive”
Reviewed 15 March 2012 via mobile

We eat / drink extensively, but this is without doubt one of the most expensive outside London. Yes it's a nice place with decent food / drink and staff, but I can't say it's good value and at time seems simply expensive.

“Great food & nice place”
Reviewed 12 March 2012

This is one of my favorite places to go for a meal in North Wales. The food here is very nice, the service is good and the restaurant is always busy - My only gripe is that they don't seem to feature steak on their regular menu, if available it is on the specials board.

Aside from that, the food is fantastic and it has a large selection of local beers and good wine.

“Great food helpful staff”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

My wife and i visited this restaurant on recomendation of a local couple who visit regularly.
We found the food and service to be excellent.
However on leaving my wife ,who is diabetic was taken ill .
I can't thank the staff enough for helping us both out at what was a very frightening time.
The manager, Tim was very kind and understanding and put us both at ease calling the ambulance and making her comfortable.
Five stars are simply not enough.
