“Perfect cottage for a fantastic family holiday”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

A wonderful holiday cottage with everything we needed for a great family holiday. Thank you to Gaenor who made us feel so welcome. She keeps the cottage very clean, warm and homely. We had a great week there and will re book again.

“A fantastic Welsh welcome and a beautiful property in the heart of Llandudno”
Reviewed 23 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and you really did go above and beyond. A quaint cottage in a fantastic location next to the tram at the foot of the Great Orme and a short stroll from the beach. The cottage was really well presented, with charm and a uniqueness all of its own. Llandudno is one of my favourite places and this cottage made it all the more special.

We will definitely be back.

“What a lovely holiday home!”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I booked the cottage for the victorian extravaganza weekend the first week in May for me and my partner to relax and have time away from the hustle and bustle of life.
this cottage was perfect in every way and Gaenor and Sam were excellent with us.
we loved it so much we didn't want to leave!
we were only a 5 minute walk to the promenade and pier as well as only 5 minute to the great orme nature reserve which was particularly handy for shopping and taking a stroll.
access to the property was really easy and the facilities were all new and easy to use, I really loved the log burning fire, which is a must to try if you have a cold spell.
I would reccommend 'the Seahorse', 'Harvey's bar & Grill' and also if you're brave enough the walk around the orme has some spectacular views and if you start off by the pier you end up next to the cottage via Haulfre gardens.
I have certainly taken some happy memories away with me and will definitely be coming back for a holiday next year with my partner.
Thank you Gaenor & Sam

Dear Tracey & John,

Thank you very much for the lovely review. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us here in Llandudno. There's always plenty to do but especially so during the Extravaganza. We look forward to welcoming you back for the Bank Holiday again in 2015. Thanks again, Gaenor.

“A lovely week in this cute cottage!”
Reviewed 7 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

As someone who mostly stays in Travelodges for work this was a welcome treat. Escape Cottage is beautiful in every way. Tastefully decorated throughout with kitsch/retro touches it was a pleasure to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped and the wood burning stove was lovely when the Llandudno weather got chilly! The main bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in - like sleeping wrapped up in a cloud! Gaenor and Sam were lovely hosts, nice touch that we had the option to borrow DVDs from their sister hotel Escape down the road. Will hopefully return!

“Another perfect relaxing stay at the Escape Cottage”

Another lovely stay at the cottage, this time with our sixteen month old grandson. The cottage is just across the road from the tram station, so great for our grandson to watch the trams go by. The cottage is in a perfect location for visiting the shops and the promenade. When visiting Llandudno this is the only cottage for us, it has everything you could need for a self catering holiday, a well equipped kitchen, with lots of thoughtful extras for everyday use. Plenty of big fluffy towels, comfy beds and lovely views over Llandudno. The cottage is so quaint with lovely tasteful decor, where modern meets vintage with the added touches of Cath Kidston. Cant wait to stay here again next time we need a short break.

Dear Roy & Janet,

It was lovely to welcome you back to the cottage, thank you for visiting again. I'm so glad that it was a success as far as your grandson was concerned. Like you say, children love watching the trams go by & enjoy waving to the passengers onboard. I hope that we have the pleasure of seeing you all again soon. Thanks again & kind regards, Gaenor.

“Lovely place to Escape to”
Reviewed 20 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Wow, what a lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy and everything you could need.
I'm jealous of the furnishings, I may have to go home and redecorate.
The location is perfect to walk to Llandudno centre. Near by is a lovely fish and chip shop, a pub that sells very nice food and the Tram that goes up the great Orme. (My little boy spent a lot of time waving at the Trams). There are two bedrooms, one a double and one with two singles ( with enough room to put a travel cot up) and a lovely garden.
It is very comfy and cosy and hope to be back again.
