Having just returned from our first visit to the Tan Lan we can't wait to return. The rooms are spotlessly clean, food superb (wonderful 5 course dinners), the hotel is situated on the quieter west shore just 2 mins walk to the sea. Lots of lovely walks, great for any age,
give this a try, like us you'll want to return, very relaxing. Paul and Debbie the owners are great at making your stay so pleasant.

My husband son and myself have just returned from our annual visit to Llandudno where we stayed at The Tan Lan Hotel for 4 days. We have stayed in this Hotel before and the ownership changed last year. We found that the new owners Debbie and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Set in a quiet location on the West Shore, the Hotel has a warm and inviting atmosphere and Debbie and Paul are excellent hosts, making sure that everyone has everything that they need and that they are comfortable. The food is excellent and if you like good home cooking, then this is the Hotel for you. We had a first floor front double room which was a good size and had views of The Orme. The en-suite bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. Our son had a twin room next to us which had a balcony, which he was delighted with. We all agree this Hotel is excellent and we would certainly recommend it to anyone else.

Just stayed at the Tan Lan over the bank holiday.
It is in a lovely location, just round the corner from the beach and not to far a stroll for the town shops and pier.
Debbie and Paul are very polite and welcoming.
Breakfast was very nice and filling and rooms very clean.
The only small negative was the shower trying to get the right temperature was painstakeing. Would benefit from electric showers, but over all very pleasant stay

The hotel was very clean and very accessible for my 92 year old mother who has walking difficulties. The ground floor room she had was bright and no steps to worry about. The food was excellent. A varied menu and well cooked. Owners and staff very friendly. The hotel was a bit quiet at night with not many people using the bar but it may be different later in the season. The hotel is just round the corner from the promenade. Although there are no shops on this part of the shore it is a lovely walk and there is a boating lake.

If you want a quiet location, home cooked meals, extra clean rooms, friendly atmosphere and hosts that always make you feel at home, then this is the place for you. We have gone back every year and taken different family members with us to experience our little piece of heaven. Kerry and Peter always make you welcome.

The best B&B we have been to in Llandudno. This is the third time we have been to the Tan Lan.

The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.

Breakfast is a feast and there is quite a choice. You are not rushed. The 5 course dinner is of a very high standard and varied. Cooked by the owner.

The rooms are very comfortable and a good size with all the amenities of a good hotel: towel in the shape of a swan on the bed with chocolates, hairdryer, large ensuite & free toiletries, white fluffy towels, tea & coffee with lots of biscuits.

The hotel is situated on the West Shore minutes walk from the beach but quiet. In 10 minutes you can be at the main shopping broadway.

We receive a newsletter at Christmas telling us of the refurbishments etc. We will certainly return to the Tan Lan.
