The once beautiful verandah covered Mostyn Street is no more.Where the verandahs do exist the pavements below are now blocked by the tables and chairs of the over many cafes, shoe displays, chinese made tourist junk plastic toy displays. The remaining payment areas are near death traps.Whilst walking on the street you are likely to be met and pushed out of the way by the hoardes of zimmer frame touting pensioners/people on crutches, cycles and most dangerous of all mobility scooters driven mostly by lazy overweight people. These scooters seem to have been hired from the many local mobility scooter hire shops. It is safer to walk on the main road.If you decide to risk a visit to Llandudno bring body protection.

This is a very flat and pleasant street to walk down with some very quirky one off shops although there are some chain stores and charity shops. It is very clean with some lovely flowers on display with plenty of places to sit. There are numerous cafes and mainly quick food restaurants for refreshments although I was a little disappointed as no proper restaurants for evening meals - these are found mainly in the various pubs.

We walked down this street and much to our surprise found what we had been looking for in a cook shop sale, with the size of Cardiff we could not find it there but there it was in Llandudno at a good price.

The walk down the street brought you to the new shopping centre, where there were all the big stores centrally placed, everything was central and in the town what a change.

Its a good shopping place with good prices

The main street in Llandudno has not changed much in fifty years - true, some of the shops have changed hands, but at least does not host many charity shops Well worth a walk down Mostyn Street and view the Great Orme.

Lovely shops in Llandudno. Went in most of them (not with hubby!) and found great interest in the craft shops. I have started making my own cards, and Craft Age is like an Alladin`s cave! Always loved these shops for finding something I can never see at home.
