From the moment you enter Burleigh House you realise that this is the most perfect place to stay. The entrance hall and staircase are sparklingly clean, beautifully decorated and as for the bedrooms, fabulous. Steve and Julie are the most charming hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

This year, yes we have been before, several times, we stayed in one of the bedrooms at the rear of the hotel which was so peaceful and yet each one from what we can tell has its own character(personally I like the front rooms, but that’s because I like to be nosey and see what’s going on) The bed was so comfortable and although we made the bed each day of our stay we need not have bothered because Steve and Julie not only clean the rooms every day they re-make the beds perfectly.

If you are on a diet then Burleigh House is not for you, although you could put the diet on hold for a few days while you indulge in the most scrumptious non-greasy full English (sorry Welsh) breakfast, all cooked freshly for you by Steve and served with a genuine smile by Julie. If you are on a diet of sorts and intend to stick to it then there is plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, juices, yoghurts, toast etc and Julie will ask Steve to make you a slimming version of his breakfast or you could just eat the lot.

Julie and Steve clearly love their hotel and their vocation, Burleigh House is spotlessly clean, outstandingly comfortable, the food fantastic and the perfect place to stay and yes we intend to go back, again.

And as for Llandudno it is a place where you can rest and recuperate, play golf, or use as a base to tour the most picturesque North Wales countryside, or if you are feeling energetic climb Snowdon and then return in the evening to a selection of excellent restaurants bars and clubs – a town for all ages.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear are quiet and calming. Rooms at the front give you a more 'interesting' vi...

We stayed in Burleigh House a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately, we could only get in for the one night, as we had booked late. Our room was lovely - tastefully decorated (which makes a change) and spotlessly clean. We had a comfy four-poster bed and the large en-suite bathroom was down a few steps and seemed newly done out. There was a great choice for breakfast. My smoked salmon bagel with poached egg was delicious and my partner's full English was also of very high quality. Burleigh house is in a great position too - close to the centre, the sea and pier, with some great restaurants and pubs on he doorstep. We loved The Seahorse restaurant opposite. The hotel owners, Julie and Steve, were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We look forward to going back again.

We have been to Llandudno several times and each time we stay at Burleigh a House. It is an excellent Guest House with all facilities provided. It is extremely clean and comfortable and very close to all the local attractions. Julie and Steve make everyone feel very welcome and the breakfasts are excellent, all tastes catered for. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

This is the second time me and my husband have stayed in this Guest House and is truly the BEST we have ever stayed in, hence the return visit. It is extremely clean, the bed is more comfortable than our own and Steve dishes out a fantastic breakfast swiftly served by Julie. It is also in a great location, 3 minute walk to the pier and promenade one way and 5 minute walk to the Great Orme Tramway the other with plenty of bars and restaurants close to hand. Highly recommend La Taverna and The Kings Head for great value for money. Julie and Steve can't do enough for you, they spotted we had some wine in our room and when we had returned to our room, they had supplied wine glasses! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Llandudno as it really is a little gem. Book this Guest House as you will not be disappointed!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms 3 and 7 have got a separate seating area so it is nice to have the extra space to relax in ins...
