Lovely ,very clean and super facilities. The staff could not do enough for us everyone was so courteous, especially the receptionist, the barman and the breakfast waitress.
Our room was warm, modern and bathroom good. To improve things my wife would have liked a packet of biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities and some body lotion in the bathroom other than that a defo 9.5
breakfast was really nice, well cooked, quick, clean, well presented and very well served
good luck with the turkey and tinsel this season you dererve it!

Room Tip: Did not have a sea view room but the views from the rear of the hotel overlloking the Snowdonia rang...

My mother has just returned from this lovely hotel and with her having special requirements due to ill health, the extra mile that bill and Hilda went to was outstanding. My mother has not stopped telling us all how you all went out of your way to ensure she was well looked after and how bill (chef) made sure that her food was not only served in the way she could eat it but also serving food not on the menu but could be easily digested. I would just like to say to both bill, Hilda and all the staff a very big thank you for taking so much care of my mother and making her stay as enjoyable as it was.

Room Tip: we were at the back of the hotel so did not overlook the beach, but had some lovely views of the sun...

Samantha was really friendly and helpful , told us which were the best bars to go to! :) the only negative was there were no baked beans on full english breakfast which my husband was disappointed about ! But i wasnt bothered, overall a great stay at the kensington .

Room Tip: Pick seaview room

Just had a weekend at the Kensington with my wife and mother in law, we had the hotel recommended by a friend of my mother in law. The hotel does have some positive points, there is ample easy to access parking at the rear of the hotel, with access to the hotels basement and lift, The two rooms we were given had newly refurbished bathrooms to a good standard. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. The food was average and the menu varied. The rooms we had were very clean but a little dated/tired. The rooms both had sea views as requested across the beautiful bay. Our room on the second floor had a high window so you could not sea the view unless you were stood up. On our stay, the hotel at night was very quiet with no entertainment, although we did find this common to many of the hotels along the front.

Room Tip: The first floor front facing rooms have the better sea views due to the larger, lower windows.

My wife and i spent one night at this seafront hotel. The reception staff could not have been more accommodating having shown us several rooms to choose from. We ended up in the basement room which was quiet with plenty of room. Good breakfast too.

Room Tip: Have a look at what is on offer.
